This is strange, as usually USA and Canada launch the deals at the same time on the same items.

However, this time the deal is running only in Canada, and it resembles almos 1:1 the ones currently running all over Europe.

Actually part of these deals were shortly available in USA at BHphoto here, but they have since then been removed.

As we reported here, the US Fuji deals have been delayed a bit. Who knows what they will bring… some even better deals? ;)

Fujinon GF80mm f/1.7 (vs GF110mmF2)

The Fujinon GF80mmF1.7 is currently not easy to find. A low stock is available at Adorama here and also at AmazonUS here.

And yet, slowly but surely, it is falling in the hands of photographers, who drop their (very positive) reviews on the various online sales platforms:

I did play around with the Fujinon GF80mmF1.7 too (and so did my son) when I met my friend, who sold all his Nikon Z mirrorless gear for the GFX system. So far he does not regret it at all and he is totally thrilled about his switch.

DPR Fujinon XF18mmF1.4 Review: Gold Award!

DPReview published their full field review of the brand new Fujinon XF18mmF1.4 R LM WR lens.

It gets the Gold Award with a long list of Pros and a very short Cons list.

Fujifilm itself explained the lens itself is designed for higher resolutions than currently offered by Fujifilm, and the Fujifilm X-H2 comes to mind here.
