EXCLUSIVE: Never Rumored Fujifilm X Camera Coming 2021 Will be Called…

After I told you that Fujifilm will announce a never rumored before X series camera in 2021, I have been contacted by a few sources, including an anonymous source (*message to source below), who told me which camera it will be.

The camera will be the Fujifilm X-T30II.

Yes, Fujifilm X-T30 MKII and not Fujifilm X-T40.

*thanks for contacting me and informing me. I have read also the second part of the rumor which will go online shortly. If you want, you can now drop me again a message via rumor box by using a nickname so I can recognize you in case you decide to contact me again in future. Fujifilm GFX50SII will Look IDENTICAL to the Fujifilm GFX100S, Hence Make Leaked Images Useless ;)

I keep getting emails about how the Fujifilm GFX50SII will look like.

Will it retain the dials of the GFX50S? Will it still have the backhump? Will it still have a detachable viewfinder? And more of these questions.

I get it, it’s summer, so it’s easier to miss certain articles while you are on holiday. And that’s good so.

But in the hope to stop the storm of emails I get, I would like to remind you of this article on June, where I say that the Fujifilm GFX50SII will look identical to the Fujifilm GFX100S.

And with identical, I mean identical: every button, the viewfinder, the dials, just everything.

This also means that the leaked images of the Fujifilm GFX50SII will be the most boring ever, as all you have to do is to look at the Fujifilm GFX100S.

BREAKING: One More and Never Rumored X Series Camera Coming 2021

Do you remember when I told you that there won’t be any more X series camera in 2021 and that the next X series camera to hit the market will be the Fujifilm X-H2?

Well, forget about it :).

According to our trusted sources, Fujifilm will launch one more X series camera in 2021.

The camera has never been rumored before (so it can’t be the Fujifilm X-H2).

Fujinon Patents for XF 90mm F1.6 and XF 77mm F1.6 Spotted

The Japanese website asobinet spotted a couple of Fujifilm patents, but some of them are old and we shared them back in 2020 already.

Some belong to lenses we already got or that Fujifilm planed at some point but canceled:

The new ones are the following:

  • Fujinon XF 90mm F1.6
  • Fujinon XF 77mm F1.6

You know what I think about patents.

Recently a patent has been spotted about an XF35mmF1.4 MKII, which won’t come. There was the patent about the XF16-55mmF2.8 OIS, which also won’t come. Back in March 2020 we reported about two Fujifilm patents showing a Fujinon XF300mmF4 and Fujinon XF500mmF5.6. But also here we told you not to expect any of these lenses in the near future.

And then there were the patents about… well, you got the point!

So, FujiRumors is here to advice you to take every patent with a grain of salt. 99% of those never see the light of the day.
