TOKYO, April 22, 2021 – FUJIFILM Corporation (President: Kenji Sukeno) is pleased to announce the release of the FUJIFILM X Series and GFX System Digital Camera Control Software Development Kit (SDK), which will help software developers integrate the functionality of FUJIFILM X Series and GFX System cameras into any applications that are currently being developed. Available on April 22, 2021 the SDK will allow developers to initiate the automatic transfer of images, from a supported Fujifilm camera, to a computer using a Windows*1 or macOS*2 operating system. Remote access to the basic controls of any supported Fujifilm camera is also supported. Information regarding the conversion of the RAW image data contained in Fujifilm’s proprietary RAF file is not provided with this SDK.

Fujifilm has launched its medium-term management plan called VISION2023.
It’s clear that their focus is on the healthcare business and quite frankly the mention of its imaging division at the very end of the press release you can read below, feels more like a mandatory half-hearted addendum.
That’s totally different compared to their VISION2019 plan that Fujifilm published in 2017 here, where they literally wrote:

A new episode of Fujifilm’s “Focus on Glass” series went online. This time it’s about the Fujinon GF110mmF2, which, I remember you, at the moment is available with a $500 discount (expires tomorrow).
Down below the video plus the transcript.

The Latest GFX Gear
The Latest X Gear

A lot we talked about the tremendous success of the Fujifilm GFX100S and we saw it pushing the GFX system ownership of the FujiRumors community from 3% to 13% overnight.
But here is another fact: Fujifilm X series is and remains the King here on FujiRumors, with 91% of FR-readers owning an X series camera.
That does not come surprising to me, as the X series is and will remain the best balanced system of all out there in terms of size, price and performance ratio.
Hence, I decided to make the same survey we did for the GFX (which GFX gear do you own) also for the X series.
Feel free to tick the X gear you own down below.
Important Note: If you pre-ordered any of the gear listed below and just wait to get it shipped, you qualify as owner.
Important Note II: I include AF lenses from third party manufacturers Zeiss, Viltrox and Tokina
