Cam-in just released Italian leather cases for Fujifilm X-Pro2 and X100F.

LCP-001 series for FUJIFILM X 100 F

Manufacturer’s preferred price ¥ 12,000 ($107) excluding tax

It is a leather camera case dedicated to Fujifilm X100F. Using luxury Italian leather, the craftsman handmade and carefully finished. A tripod hole is provided on the bottom of the case, and it can be attached to a tripod even with the case attached.

Material: Italian leather, aluminum (case bottom part)
Size: 13.1 cm × 8.5 cm × 3.8 cm
Battery exchangeable in attached condition, with speaker hole and tripod hole.

Fujifilm X-T2, X-T20 and GFX 50S Firmware Update on Thursday, November 30

Fujifilm will update the Fujifilm X-T2, X-T20 and GFX 50s on November 30 (Thursday).

List of improvements:

Fujifilm X-T2 and X-T20 – check out firmware details here
Fujifilm GFX 50S – check out firmware details here
Note: GFX, X-T2, X-Pro2 and X100F will get X RAW STUDIO support. X RAW Studio release for Mac is planed for late November 2017 and for Windows in late January 2018

Fujifilm Netherlands recently said here that the Fujifilm X-T20 firmware update has been postponed. But I guess Fujifilm was able to fix all issues and is ready to release it on time. You see, even Fujifilm itself can share wrong rumors now and then ;) .

Update your camera in any case, even if you do not need the features/improvements that come with this specific firmware update. Fujifilm often implements “undocumented fixes“, which can be as small as a typo in the menu, but also more significant bug fixes and improvements.
To be 100% safe, though, do not update your camera on the same day you need your camera for a paid assignment. In very rare cases, firmware updates can introduce new bugs. If you need your camera on a paid job, wait a few days, check back fujirumors.com to see if there are some bugs with the new firmware in the following days, and if there are no reports, update your camera. But with that said, in 99% of the cases a new firmware will only improve things, and not make them worst. So at the end, always update.

Profoto A1 Release Delayed… and Godox Makes Fuji X and GFX Shooters Happy :)

Profoto Delay

Back in mid-September, Profoto announced the Profoto A1 studio light.

Just a few days later, here on FujiRumors we broke the news, that the Profoto A1 will come also for Fujifilm. Profoto’s plan was to release the Canon/Nikon version in late November, and the Sony/Fuji version following later on.

The good news: Profoto A1 pre-orders seem to be strong

The bad news: according to Profoto, pre-orders are so high, that the release for Canon/Nikon version has been delayed from late November 2017 to late January 2018 (via dc-watch). I hope this does not mean also the Fuji version will be delayed, too.
