Fotodiox 3-in-1 DLX Stretch Adapter for Fujifilm X + RAYQUAL M42 lens mount adapter

FOTODIOX DLX Stretch Adapter

We repoted about a similar adapter for Fujifilm GFX, but I can’t remember that I mentioned the Fotodiox 3-in-1 DLX Stretch Adapter for Fujifilm X here on FujiRumors.

Luckily, what I don’t see, you guys see it, so FR-reader Peter dropped me the link to this multi-function adapter by Fotodiox, available also for Fujifilm X.

With this adapter you can:

  1. adapt vintage lens to your Fujifilm camera
  2. lenghten the adapter, so you can do really close focus
  3. there is a new platform for drop in magnetic filter system

RAYQUAL M42 lens mount adapter

Google translated: RAYQUAL, mount adapter that allows you to position the indicator of a screw-in type lens directly above – dc.watch (translation)

New X Gear Arrived at the FujiRumors Headquarter… Guess What ? – UPDATE

Share

Hey all…

X-mas came a few days earlier here at the FujiRumors headquarter (right in time for my weekend trip to Prague).

Make your guess what you think could be in those 3 nice FUJIFILM boxes :)

I going to grab my dinner now, and then I will update this blog post with the answer.

In a separate article I will cover more comprehensively why I decided to grab this specific gear and not other Fuji X gear (one decision was particulary difficult), as well as give your first (postive, but also negative) feedback about it.

Now let’s see how accurately you read FujiRumors, because I dropped some hints now and then about the gear I’m lusting after… and starting from today, I finally own it :)

Profoto Air Remote TTL-F for Fujifilm Pre-order at BHphoto… but New Godox X-Pro F Transmitter for Fujifilm Coming soon for $69!

Share

Profoto

The Profoto Air Remote TTL-F for Fujifilm is now available for pre-order at BHphoto. Soon it will be available also at AmazonUS and Adorama. The official shipping embargo is set for December 18.

Godox

I konw about the quality of Profoto gear, and you’ve got to pay for quality, no doubt.

However, the price is quite hefty, and to me nothing beats the price/value equation of Godox gear.

Consider also that VERY soon, Godox will release the Fujifilm version of it X-Pro transmitter, which has far superior UI and controls than any other Godox trigger currently available for Fujifilm. The Canon version is sold for $69 at Adorama.

I remind you that recently DPReview declared the Godox Ving V860 II best accessory of 2017.

Godox X1T-F controller: BHphoto, Adorama, AmazonUS
Godox TT350F: Adorama, AmazonUS
Godox TT685F: BHphoto, Adorama, AmazonUS
Godox V860IIF: BHphoto, Adorama, AmazonUS

Fujifilm X-H1 “4K Photo” Feature is Basically a Timelapse Feature

Share

X-H1 Mock-ups based on accurate sketches of our Japanese Source

Fujifilm X-H1

Recently I reported about a new feature on the Fujifilm X-H1, but I had so vague information about it, that I specifically told you to hold on for more details. All I knew is that it might combine movie and stills… somehow.

I speculated here that it could maybe be something like Panasonic’s “4K Photo” feature, where you can extract a photo out of a 4K video.

Now another source contacted me with a further hint, and told me that it is basically a timelapse feature.

I will try to dig up more details for you guys, and thanks to the source for showing me the way ;)

And feel free to join our hyper-active Fujifilm X-H group.
