BREAKING: Fujifilm X-T3 Successor Shipping in March/Early Spring 2020 – TRUSTED SOURCE

Fujifilm X-T3 Successor

Ok, let’s rock it!

According to our trusted sources, the Fujifilm X-T3 successor will start shipping in March/early spring.

This comes surprising, as if we take a look at the complete Fujifilm X cameras release timeline, if Fujifilm would have kept their usual X-T refresh-pace, it should have come around September 2020.

But this time Fujifilm decided to anticipate the release by half a year, replacing the glorious Fujifilm X-T3 just 1.5 years later.

Now, I do not know if it will be called Fujifilm X-T4, or Fujifilm X-T5 or Fujifilm X-T3s or whatever. What I know, is that it will ship very soon.

Oh, it’s from trusted sources, so you are not allowed to doubt this rumor, but you are allowed to share the good news… and of course quote and link FujiRumors as the source, don’t “forget” that ;).

And stay tuned… as more is coming soon on FujiRumors only, of course.

Don’t forget also…

You Voted: Fujifilm X-H2 beats X-T4 and X100V as Most Wanted 2020 Camera and Only 3% want Full Frame Fujifilm

Well, looking at the results of our most desired Fujifilm camera 2020 survey, the Fujifilm X-H2 comes out on top of the list.

In fact, many hoped to see an X-H2 already under our 2019 Christmas tree.

However, as FujiRumors always told you, the X-H2 was never planed to hit the market in 2019, and to my knowledge there won’t be one even in 2020.

So what, did Fujifilm kill the X-H line?

Absolutely not!

In fact, I say, repeat and underline again: Fujifilm has plans for a Fujifilm X-H2. Just give them a bit more time, ok?

I hope this helps to make you feel better.

In our survey, Fujifilm X-H2 is very closely followed by the Fujifilm X-T4 and the upcoming Fujifilm X100V.

On the forth position, we find the Fujifilm X-T3s, basically an X-T3 with IBIS.

Now, we will surely get the Fujifilm X100V in February and we won’t get the Fujifilm X-H2 in 2020. And what about the Fujifilm X-T3 successor?

Well, we already told you in our future cameras release timeline, that, if Fujifilm respects their past refresh rate, the successor to the Fujifilm X-T3 (which is still selling strong and top recommended by DPR) could be a possibility for 2020, but it remains to see if it really comes out, and which form and shape it would eventually take.

Also worth to notice: only 3% of FR-readers want a full frame Fujifilm.

What did FujiRumors vote?

Well, I gave a vote to the Fujifilm X-H2 and to the Fujifilm GFX-T, which is something like the Fujifilm X-G mock-up that Fuji officially displayed to the press. That camera, I am sure, would be a home run for the the GFX system.

Anyway, whatever comes, and whatever will be under our 2020 Christmas tree, just follow FujiRumors to find it out before anyone else ;).

Exclusive: Fujifilm X100V Release Month and Price Leaked – Read Now on FujiRumors!

Fujifilm X100V

As you can see from our Fujifilm camera release timeline, Fujifilm usually released a new X100 camera every two years, but this time, they waited unusually long, and we gave you 3½ reasons why Fujifilm is wating so long.

But at some point, it had to happen, and now I can tell you when.

The Fujifilm X100V will see the light of the day in February 2020.

Moreover, our sources tell us that the price should be around $1,500, but that’s just the current estimate. However, in terms of price, things can change from here until launch, but right now Fujifilm is gravitating towards this price tag.

Fujifilm X100V, X-H2, X-T4 and Any Other Fuji Camera will NOT Have X-Pro3 Hidden Screen – TRUSTED SOURCE

Fujifilm X100V

Let’s keep it short and clear: the Fujifilm X100V will NOT have the hidden LCD screen of the Fujifilm X-Pro3.

And to be even more clear: the Fujifilm X-Pro3 will be the ONLY Fujifilm camera with the hidden screen for the years to come. It’s unique to X-Pro3. Whatever comes, Fujifilm X-H2, Fujifilm X-T4, X-T40, X-E4, X100V, any GFX camera and more…. none of them will have the hidden screen.

Fujifilm X-Pro4? Well, I don’t know if it still has the hidden screen. As it is scheduled for 2023 anyway, I think not even Fujifilm itself knows at this point.

I hope that was clear enough. ;)

Three Fujifilm Cameras Registered, But When Will they Come? Time Span Between Fujifilm X/GFX Registrations and Announcement

Fujifilm has recently registered three cameras:

The inevitable question that pops up in the comments when this happens, is how long the time span is between registration of a camera and its announcement.

To answer that, I looked back to the past time span between registrations and announcements, and here is what we see:

  • 1 month = 4 cameras (X-T2, X-E3, X-T100, X-T30)
  • 2 months = 3 cameras (X-T20, X100F, XF10)
  • 3 months = 3 cameras (X-T3, GFX50R, GFX100)
  • 6 months = 1 camera (X-H1)

It’s clear that we usually get a camera between 1 and 3 months after registration (with exception of X-H1, which needed 6 months).

Clearly this would indicate of 3 cameras coming within November, although the X-H1 shows that a longer wait is not impossible, hence an announcement within February 2020 (6 months).

What could these cameras be?

The contact form on FujiRumors is open for any hint (thanks), and the comments for the wildest speculations :).

3½ Reasons Why Fujifilm is Waiting so Long to Release the Fujifilm X100V

Fujifilm X100V

When I recently posted the huge Fujifilm camera release timeline, I made one single error, that thankfully you guys corrected in the comments.

I calculated, that the Fujifilm X100 series got a refresh every 2 years, which is absolutely correct. But then, based on that refresh cycle, I said that the X100V should come two years after the X100F (which was announced in January 2017).

But this would mean the Fujifilm X100V should have hit the market in January 2019, which evidently it has not. Our sources say it will come at some point in 2020.

Now, not to justify my error, but, well, I run FujiRumors 365 days a year non stop, and I wrote that particular article in a bar, drinking beer, while waiting for the rain to stop and finally go out shooting again with my X-E3, as you can see here. Well, at this point I’ll just say is that it rained a lot that day ;)

I apologize if I confused you guys, so I felt I need to address this in a dedicated article.

But also, this is a good opportunity to quickly discuss, why Fujifilm is waiting so long, to finally give us a successor to the Fujifilm X100F.

Down below 3½ reasons for that:

Top 3 Loves and Hates of Shooting Fujifilm X-T1 in 2019 compared to Fujifilm X-E3

It’s summer, which means 2 full months of holidays from my teaching job!

I have already passed 2 weeks with that annoying SonyAlphaRumors guy in beautiful Croatia. :)

However, I have no other travels planed, given that I married in May and must a little bit recover financially now (*).

So, together with my wife we decided to spend most of our summer just hiking on the mountains around my home. And frankly, I do not desire nor need more than this right now.

Sometimes we sleep on a mountain hut and enjoy the sunrises at high altitude (and with a bit of luck also meeting fellow Fujifilm shooters up there).

We might, though, make one short honeymoon city trip, maybe to Paris?

Ok, I hear you, come to the point! Camera comparison, NOW!

Well, since I bought the Fujifilm X-E3, I have basically never touched my trusty Fujifilm X-T1 anymore (which still holds the sceptre for taking my all time favorite image).

My wife kindly invited me to sell it, but the answer I could give her was no other than this one :).

So, to justify the fact that I still own the X-T1, I took it out for a recent mountain hike, put it into my Camslinger bag, and shot again a whole day with it.

It was like rediscovering the Fujifilm X-T1, and here are 3 things I loved and hated about shooting with it again.
