Viltrox 33mm f/1.4 Price Officially Disclosed

Viltrox has now disclosed the official price in Chinese Yuan of the Viltrox 33mm f/1.4.

The lens will cost 1,799 Yuan, which converted means USD 255.

This confirms the price tag of $250 given back in September.

As FujiRumors reported here, the release for the Viltrox 33mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.4 has been postponed to next year.

The only lens that could still make it for 2019, is the Viltrox 23mm f/1.4.

The latest specs and images about all three upcoming Viltrox lenses can be found in this article.

This Photographer Left Fujifilm APS-C for Sony FF and then Switched Back Fujifilm APS-C… Here is Why!

From Sony to Fuji – Why?

Italian photographer Roberto owned Fujifilm X series gear, but at some point followed the siren songs of full frame Sony.

Now, after using Sony for a while, he switched back to Fujifilm.

In his (Italian) video he explains why.

But don’t worry, you are lucky that FujiRumors is a polyglot (I speak 4 languages), so I am going to translate it for you ;).

Fujifilm will NOT be at Photokina 2020 – A good Decision? (VOTE)

As you know, I have been to photokina twice (2016 report here2018 report here).

Both times it was fantastic, just for the sheer magnitude of the event.

But then, in my opinion, Photokina did an error: they dropped their 2 years cycle and decided to take place every year in May.

I did predict: Photokina will become a smaller regional show!

Oh boy, I wish I wouldn’t have said that, as I got heavily attacked for it. Apparently some thought the brand “photokina” was too big, that no company would ever skip it, and they will continue to time their biggest releases according to Photokina.

Well, turns out that even FujiRumors can be right now and then. ;)

Olympus, Nikon and even the German “home company” Leica dropped Photokina already, as we reported here.

There was no mention about Fujifilm, not even in the most recent Photokina press release here, where the heads of Photokina traveled to Japan to meet several camera companies.

So I asked around for clarification, and I have been told that Fujifilm will NOT be at Photokina 2020.

A pity!

Well, at least I won’t make errors like these anymore (or desperate things like this) once I go back teaching after 2 days of Photokina :).

Did Fujifilm well to skip Photokina in May 2020

Exclusive: Fujifilm X100V Release Month and Price Leaked – Read Now on FujiRumors!

Fujifilm X100V

As you can see from our Fujifilm camera release timeline, Fujifilm usually released a new X100 camera every two years, but this time, they waited unusually long, and we gave you 3½ reasons why Fujifilm is wating so long.

But at some point, it had to happen, and now I can tell you when.

The Fujifilm X100V will see the light of the day in February 2020.

Moreover, our sources tell us that the price should be around $1,500, but that’s just the current estimate. However, in terms of price, things can change from here until launch, but right now Fujifilm is gravitating towards this price tag.

TOP 3 SELLING…

Here is the best selling gear on FujiRumors for November.

Top Accessories

Top Fujifilm Series Cameras

With the Fujifilm X-H1 now widely discontinued, and the X-Pro3 buzz slowly settling down, the Fujifilm X-T3 claims back its throne as the best selling camera.

Top Fujinon X Lenses

The launch of the exclusive X-T3 with 16-80mm bundle with the addition of a special rebate has boosted the 16-80 at the top of the ranking, closely followed by the discounted XF16-55mm f/2.8 and the also discounted XF90mm f/2.

Top Fujifilm GFX Gear

All Fujinon GF lenses (except for GF50mm f/3.5) are now heavily discounted. See the full list of discounted GF lenses here.

Top X Mount Third Party Lenses

The Neewer 35mm F1.2 becomes the most sold lens overall (even better than Fujinon lenses), thanks to a further price reduction that now makes it ridiculously cheap.

The evergreen Samyang 12mm f/2 makes it back in the list.

Top Software

  1. Capture One Pro
  2. Adobe Creative Cloud
  3. Luminar 4

Capture One Pro remains unbeatable, but Adobe Creative Cloud saw a nice revival here on FujiRumors, probably thanks to the black friday sale.
