Fujifilm wins “iF Design Awards” for 10 Products and FUJIFILM GFX100 awarded with highest ranked “iF Gold Award”

News is news, so I share it. But I wrote a very informative piece about these awards in the past. So, if you want to read how the business around (some of these) awards goes, check out this article.

Now, I do not know if the iF design award works the same like TIPA, EISA and others, but I would not be surprised if it would.

With that said, the iF Design Awards have been assigned, and Fujifilm wins with 10 products (last year they won 20 awards):

Fujifilm X-T4 Coming with Digital Image Stabilization that Works in Conjunction with OIS/IBIS, X Processor 4 and 240 fps

Share

Thanks to our sources, we are now able to share a couple more Fujifilm X-T4 specs.

  • Fujifilm X-T4 has digital image stabilization (DIS)
  • Digital image stabilization that works in conjunction with IBIS and OIS
  • X Processor 4
  • 240 fps @ 1080p

Interesting to finally see digital image stabilization on a Fujifilm X-Trans camera. Until now, only Bayer cameras had it, as it is easier to achieve with Bayer than X-Trans. Luckily Fujifilm figured out how to make it work also on X-Trans cameras right in time for the Fujifilm X-T4 launch.

Down below you can see all leaked specs so far.

We will now proceed to update our X-T4 vs X-T3 vs X-H1 specs comparison, which is now almost complete.

Fujifilm X-T4 vs X-T3 vs X-H1 – The Ultimate Specs Comparison Sheet

Share

Just a few days before the official announcement, we know quite a bit already about the Fujifilm X-T4, thanks to the major exclusive leaks on FujiRumors here and here, and the size and weight leak by nokishita here.

So I thought we can already launch a first, and already almost complete, Fujifilm X-T3 vs X-T4 vs X-H1 specs comparisons sheet.

Thanks to FujiRumors sources, the specs comparison is already almost complete.

We have only missing some data, like the official battery life, the fps with electronic shutter, the official buffer rate and the official EVF specs. For the rest, it’s basically complete.

Of course I will add, change and complete it once more leaks come in.

Fujifilm X-T4 Size and Weight Leaked

Share

The size and weight data have now been leaked by nokishita. Many of the other specs we leaked already a few days ago here and here.

Fujifilm X-T4: 134.6 x 92.8 x 63.8 mm and weighs 607g

For your reference, the Fujifilm X-T3 has the following data: 132,5 × 92.8 × 58.8 mm and weights 539 g.

This means the X-T4 is (compared to X-T3):

  • 1.51% longer
  • same high
  • 8.5% thicker
  • 12,6% heavier

The Fujifilm X-T4 will be announced February 25/26 (depending on your time zone here)

Message to Source: Message Received and…

Share

Dear readers, sorry to bother you with it, but a few minutes ago I received a message from an anonymous source. It came to me via rumor box, so I have no idea, who it is and how to contact it. My only way to contact the source is via FujiRumors. I hope you don’t mind, but making a public post is the only way to reach out to the source.

TO THE SOURCE:

[UPDATED] Thanks :)

Thanks a lot for you message and insight.

Also, it is strange you got no confirmation message when sending the mail via rumor box. And in fact something must have gone wrong, as I believe I did not get the “full” message you wanted to share with me. Would you mind try again? Maybe with another browser? Otherwise you can also contact me at fujirumor@gmail (you can use a fake email if you want). Of course also in that case everything will remain 100% anonymous, and I won’t make a single step, without you approving it clearly.
