Dark Navy Blue Fujifilm X-A7 for Sale Now in Selected Countries and X-A7 In Stock Everywhere

Even before the official Fujifilm X-A7 announcement, FujiRumors told you here there will be also a dark blue version of the Fujifilm X-A7, and we showed you first images months ago here.

Since then, I have received a few request from readers, asking me about the dark blue version.

It might have been passed unnoticed, as I already said it here, so I thought I might say it again: the dark blue Fujifilm X-A7 is already selling, but not in all countries (as reported also by pcmag).

For example, you can find the Navy Blue Fujifilm X-A7 at the Russian store interfoto here.

So far, it is not available in North America or many EU countries, but it might come, if that color turns out to be particularly loved in the markets where it’s sold. Just as it happened with the brown Fujifilm X100F, which originally was sold only in selected countries, and then found its way also in the US market, although it is now again discontinued.

What you can find in stock everywhere, are all other Fujifilm X-A7 colors.

Additional Specs: Viltrox 23mm f/1.4, 33mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.4 Autofocus Lenses

Viltrox

A FR-reader shared with FujiRumors some flyers about the upcoming Viltrox lenses:

  • Viltrox 23mm f/1.4
  • Viltrox 33mm f/1.4
  • Viltrox 56mm f/1.4

Viltrox 23, 33 and 56 hands on images!

The flyers give a few more details to the ones already shared in this article as well as some correction (for example a slight weight increase in some cases and lens elements design changes for the 23mm f/1.4).

In the meantime, the Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 autofocus lens for Fujifilm X is a best seller and so far the feedback is definitely very positive. It’s not a Fujinon, but it’s also so much cheaper, that you definitely get great performance for little price.

Down below all the new details about the upcoming lenses.

Fujifilm to Own 100% of Fuji Xerox

Back in January 2018, we told you that Fujifilm closed a deal to take over 50.1% of struggling Xerox.

However, top investors protested, as they considered the deal “dramatically undervalues” Xerox and a lawsuit was the consequence.

Now we have an update:

Xerox Holdings Corp. and Fujifilm Holdings Corp. have agreed to end a 57-year-old joint venture more than a year after an attempt at a full merger soured.

Xerox has agreed to sell its 25% stake in the venture, Fuji Xerox, to Fujifilm for $2.2 billion, according to people familiar with the matter. It has also agreed to sell a majority stake in a smaller joint venture to an affiliate of Fuji Xerox and extended the timeline of an agreement allowing Fujifilm to be a major supplier to Xerox, the people said. Xerox’s total expected proceeds are roughly $2.3 billion, the people said.

Fujifilm’s lawsuit against Xerox for walking away from a planned deal with Fuji Xerox that would have effectively combined the two companies will be dismissed as part of the deal, the people said.

Exiting the venture and removing the lawsuit could free the companies to make major shifts in direction both strategically and geographically.
