2017 will be remembered not only as the year, when Fujifilm finally got massive flash support from third party manufacturers, but also the year of smart adapters for Fujifilm GFX 50S and also Fujifilm X series cameras.

Fringer EF-FX Smart Adapter

Fringer just uploaded this video demonstrating the use of the electronic aperture ring on ther Canon EF to Fuji FX smart adapter.

We already reported about Fringers EF-FX smart adapter in the past and we had several videos shared on FR showing for example the AF-C with the Sigma 30/1.4 (see video here), and also the Sigma 18-35mmF1.8 on Fujifilm X-T2 PDAF demo video here.

FUJIFILM Releases X-Pro2 Kaizen Firmware Update ver. 4.00 + New Features Guide Manual

Kaizen X-Pro2 Firmware

Ho, ho, ho… :)

Fujifilm just released a new Firmware update for the Fujifilm X-Pro2 (ver.4.00), and it’s well worth to be called a “Kaizen” update.

It adds several features to the X-Pro2, such as 4K video, new AF-tracking, tethered shooting, highglight blinkies, RGB histogram & more. Quite a step up for the 2 years old X-Pro2… and of course it comes for free for all X-Pro2 owners.

Lightroom Tether PRO Plug-in Ver. 1.7.0 Released… and Now Free for Fujifilm GFX only!

Fujifilm Tether Shooting Lightroom Plug-in

Adobe Lightroom just updated their Standard and PRO Fujifilm Tether Shooting plug-ins.

Interestingly, the PRO plug-in will be free for Fujifilm GFX, but not for Fujifilm X-T1 and X-T2.

Free X-Acquire Workaround

Keep in mind that Fujifilm offers its own Fujifilm X-Acquire software, which will allow you to tether every supported Fujifilm cameras for free. I share again a great youtube overview by Eivind Røhne down below.
