Fujifilm X-S10 Firmware 1.02 Released

Fujifilm has released firmware 1.02 for Fujifilm X-S10 cameras.

The firmware update Ver.1.02 from Ver.1.01 incorporates the following issue:

  • In case that AUTO is selected by the Mode Dial or AUTO is selected in MIN. SHUTTER SPEED of ISO setting, the shutter speed setting is changed to avoid a blur image caused by hand shaking and/or moving subjects.
  • ELECTRONIC LEVEL can be used when AUTO is selected by the Mode Dial.
  • Fix of a minor bug.

BREAKING: Fujinon XF 70-300mm F4-5.6 Coming Early 2021

FujiRumors told you already back in March that Fujifilm is working on a Fujinon XF70-300mm and we shared in April that will be an F4-5.6 lens.

The development of the Fujinon XF70-300mm F4-5.6  has been finally announced by Fujifilm during the Fujifilm X Summit on October 15.

On the latest X mount roadmap, Fujifilm just vaguely said the lens will come sometimes in 2021.

Well, time to be less vague here on FujiRumors ;).

In fact, trusted sources told us that the Fujinon XF70-300mm f4-5.6 will come in early 2021!

Some time ago, I read with interest the article in which photographers discussed what gear they miss for photographing wildlife in existing Fujifilm offer. They mostly mentioned various lenses of different focal lengths and apertures, which could give some people the impression that it is almost not possible to photograph wildlife with the Fujifilm X system. Therefore, I decided to summarize my almost five years of experience in this field. I hope to inspire and encourage some photographers who consider getting into wildlife photography with Fujifilm gear.
