Fujifilm Starts Discontinuing Fujicolor 100 and Fujicolor Superia Premium 400

Share

Fujifilm will stop shipping the following film by the end of March 2020.

From now on, Fujifilm will sell the film only separately, and no longer in packs. Not a good sign for future of these films.

Notice of end of sales of some photographic film products

February 7, 2020

Fujifilm Imaging Systems Co., Ltd.

Thank you for using Fujifilm products regularly.

FUJIFILM Imaging Systems Corporation (President: Toru Nishimura)
will discontinue the sale of some photographic film products due to a long-term decrease in demand, which has made it difficult to provide a stable supply.

I am very sorry, but I would appreciate your forgiveness after careful consideration of the situation. We look forward to your continued patronage of Fujifilm products.

Fujifilm to Release 3 New X Mount lenses within 2020 (in addition to XF50mmF1) – Your Guess in the Comments

Share

In the latest X summit here, Fujifilm said they will launch 4 more X mount lenses within 2020 (at some point the manager also said “within the next 12 months“, which could possibly mean within very early 2021).

But anyway, 4 lenses are coming soon.

We know for sure, that one is the Fujinon XF50mm f/1.0, which you can see working prototypes of in the X summit live stream (go to minute 43:07).

But which one are the remaining 3 lenses?

FujiRumors is working on it, and we are confident we will soon be able to give you updates on the upcoming lenses.

For now, just let us know which 3 additional lenses do you think Fujifilm will add to the roadmap. Let’s test your “rumor-intuition-skills“. :)

And just in case it happens you really know the 3 secret lenses, you can always drop me an email at fujirumor@gmail.com. The worldwide Fujifilm community would be grateful for a bit of extra excitement ahead the Fujifilm X-T4 launch on February 26 at 2 PM Tokyo time.

So, fellow FR readers: sit down, relax, and enjoy the time here on FujiRumors, as I have the feeling we will have lots to talk about in the next 2 weeks :).

Fujifilm X RAW Studio Update 1.8.1 Fixes macOS Compatibility Issue

Share

A few weeks ago, Fujifilm acknowledged compatibility issues of various Fujifilm software with MacOS Catalina. Fujifilm is working to fix it, and they released updates on November 14 here, on November 28 here, December 5 here and January 6 here.

The next fix is for Fujifilm X RAW Studio:

FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO – MAC

*When FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO starts first time with the macOS 10.15.3 or newer, the dialog below to encourage the access to “Photos” will appear. Click the “OK” to accept the access. Otherwise, Mac cannot be connected with a camera.
*In case X RAW STUDIO starts with a camera connected, a dialog below to encourage the access to “Removable volume”, “Documents folder” and so on can appear. Click the “OK” to accept the access. Otherwise, Mac cannot be connected with a camera.

New Fujifilm NP-W235 Battery for Fujifilm X-T4 Registered

Share

Nokishita just spotted the registration for a new Fujifilm battery, the Fujifilm NP-W235.

What is this for?

Well, as FujiRumors already told you several weeks ago, the Fujifilm X-T4 will come with a complete new battery, so not the current NP-W126 and not even the GFX NP-T125 battery.

Now you know the name: Fujifilm NP-W235.

We will know, see and read everything about the Fujifilm X-T4 on this date.

Looks like we were spot on with yet another rumor (thanks to the source!!!).

And don’t worry… more is coming on FujiRumors, so definitely stay tuned and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, RSS-feed and Twitter.

See the Controverisal Fujifilm X100V Promo Video Removed by Fujifilm – Offensive or Legit Street Photography?

Share

At the launch of the Fujifilm X100V yesterday, Fujifilm published many promotional videos. Among the others the one of Tatsuo Suzuki you can see below.

It has been removed by Fujifilm, with apology for the shooting style of the photographer, that has been perceived as offensive by many in the comments, as the photographer has a rather “intrusive” style of shooting, they say. Others instead defended his shooting style as legit street photography.

But once things land on the internet, they remain there, and FujiRumors (thanks to his friends on Twitter), can provide you with the video.

I will let you debate on this. Just watch the video below, and let us know what you think.
