Message to Source: Rumor Received… and Questions?

Share

To Readers: A few hours ago I received a message from an anonymous source, who uses a nickname. It came to me via rumor box, so I have no idea, who it is and how to contact it. My only way to contact the source is via FujiRumors. I hope you don’t mind, but making a public post is the only way to reach out to the source.

TO THE SOURCE:

First off thanks for using the nickname. It makes my rumor-life already much easier, as I know you have been accurate in the past and hence I know what you tell me is correct.

For me, the fact that you use a nickname, is already extremely helpful.

Regarding the rumor you shared, all I can say via the FR-blog for now is that I am following hints that point towards that direction already, and your confirmation definitely helps me to make me feel confident I am following the right path.

I’d love to ask you a few questions about it, but I can’t do it publicly via FujiRumors.

If you want to have a more direct and confidential talk, here is what you could eventually do:

  • contact me via private message on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram
  • contact me via email (you can use a fake email if you want, but after almost 10 years of rumor-blogging, I can guarantee you that you’ll remain 100% anonymous to the rest of the world also if you’d decide to use your regular email)

If you decide not to contact me via personal message, absolutely no problem. I am happy for the help I can get in any form you decide to give it to me.

Thanks again, and have a great weekend,

BREAKING: Fujifilm X-S10 New Mid-Range Camera is Coming

Share

Fujifilm X-S10

Back in June we told you Fujifilm would launch two new mid-range cameras within March 2021.

Later on, in early August, we told you that at least one of the two cameras will be a completely new line (the other one could be a new one too, or a successor to an already existing line).

Today we will talk about the mysterious new camera and unveil its name: Fujifilm X-S10.

Could this be a successor to the forgotten Fujifilm X-S1? Well, according to preliminary information I have, it’s not.

Soon more details will be shared. Stay tuned on FujiRumors.

And if you want, join our brand new Fujifilm X-S10 facebook group.

Fujinon XF50mmF1.0 Hits the Stores and More Reviews: Beautiful Sunstars, Autofocus Comparison with XF56mmF1.2 and Samples

The Fujinon XF50mmF1.0 has reached stores all over the world, so probably Fujifilm will be able to start shipping within September 25, despite the unexpected high demand. Remains to see how large the first batch will be. I have the feeling not enough to meet initial demand.

Fujifilm is also preparing your camera, and has just released XF50mmF1.0 support firmware updates for a total of 11 X series cameras.

Hence, for us it’s time to publish a little Fujinon XF50mmf/1.0 roundup.

Firmware Updates for Fujifilm X-T4, X-T3, X-T2, X-T1, X-H1, X-Pro3, X-Pro2, X-Pro1, X-E3, X-T20 and X-T30 Released

Fujifilm has released several firmware updates.

Down below you’ll find all the details officially shared by Fujifilm.

The main course of the meal is improved support for the Fujinon XF50mmF1.0 R WR. for “enhanced AF speed and enabling Color Shading Correction to mitigate subtle color casts when images are made at the lens’ maximum F1.0 aperture“.

I wish Fujifilm would specify, which bugs are fixed. For example, as FujiRumors found out for first, the recent X-T4 “minor bug fix” was actually a major one, as it fixed the exposure stepping issue.

Anyway, down below all the details.
