New Cactus V6 II Wireless Flash Transceiver

Cactus just announced the newest version of its popular Wireless Flash Trasceiver, the new Cactus V6 II. It will bring HSS to the Fujfilm X-system. However, as you can read in the press release below, Cactus says:

Cactus also extends HSS capabilities to Fujifilm cameras despite them not yet supporting high-speed sync at the time of writing

Cactus V6 II and IIs are currently scheduled to be available in 2016 July and August respectively and both are priced at $95.00 (ex VAT).

What was missing so far is the price. The Instax Share SP-2 Smartphone Printer will cost $199.

Before we talk about the Medium Format Fuji, let me say just this: it’s undeniable, Hasselblad caused a sensation with the Hasselblad X1D, the first “compact” Mirrorless Medium Format Camera.

It’s great to see a company, that many declared as dead, come back with such an awesome product.

It’s also great to know that the future Medium Format Fuji will have a strong competitor. The X1D has set the bar now. Now it’s up to Fujifilm to beat Hasselblad’s MF offer.

And speaking of Medium Format Fuji, I have an update for you today, coming from a source, who was right in the past.

The source says that, at the moment, Fujifilm plans to release the Medium Format Fuji along with 3 lenses.

Keep in mind: early rumor, grain of salt, you know the story… but enough for us to have fun speculating :-)

Which 3 lenses should Fujifilm launch?

I’ll share a Poll now, but just a very vague one, asking you how many primes or zooms you’d like to accompany the MF Fuji. Drop your vote and then feel free to specify the desired focal length and speed in the comments.

According to a trusted source (thanks!) Fujfilm will announce the Instax SP-2 printer on June 27… and you can bet I’ll place my order for that one!

The source also confirms the specs we have shared in previous Instax SP-2 printer rumors, like the [shoplink 46113 ebay]rechargeable NP45 batteries[/shoplink] (charing via USB possible), faster prints, higher print quality (320dpi compared to the 254dpi of the Instax Share SP-1), the silver/gold colors and more.

The image size will remain the same: 62mm x 46mm.
