LEAKED ** See Fujifilm X100F Images (Top, Front, Back)

Today I woke up with a very interesting email from the trusted Japanese source :)

Just like every year, our trusted Japanese source decided to make us all a little X-mas present. And since some of you critized its drawing skills when it sketched the Fujifilm X-Pro2 last year (even though it’s clear to see, that the source has talent for that… I know how quickly it sketched those images), this year the source decided to share the real thing with us.

IMHO, the X100 line is and remains the best looking X-series camera… and the X100F just continues this tradition. I was really tempted to jump on the X100T last year, when I destroyed my X-E2, but at the end I got the X-T1, just because I had already invested quite some money in the lenses.

Fujifilm X-E3 or X100F?

Imagine an X-E3, spec’ed like the X100F, which one would you buy? Of course consider differences, like the hybrid viewfinder and leaf shutter on the X100F and the interchangeable lenses on the X-E3. But for the rest, sensor, processor, AF-performance, video capabilities and so forth would be identical.

Why this Survey?

I launch this Poll to see, which camera would sell better amongst FujiRumors readers. And a little bit I launch it also for Fujifilm Managers… this market study comes to you for free, but if you really insist, I could also accept a free Fujifilm GFX* ;)

Fujifilm X100F and X-T20 Will Be Announced January 19th (TRUSTED SOURCE) + AF Led Situated Next to the Flash

Fellow X-shooters, please mark this date in your calendar: January 19th, 2017. On this day, Fujifilm will unveil the Fujifilm X100F and X-T20.

Another detail has been unveiled by another source: The X100F AF led is now situated next to the flash.

Ending The Fake Rumors Confusion

  1. If you are going to upgrade from the X100/S/T to the Fujifilm X100F, then you will have to buy the NP-W126s batteries. There is a 0,0% chance that, as claimed elsewhere, the NP-95 batteries of the X100/S/T will fit in the X100F.
  2. I got some scared emails from X-shooters, worried that the X100F will not be able to shot ACROS, because fake rumors say it could feature the old EXRII Processor. As we know, and confirmed also by X-guru Rico Pfirstinger in our forum here “ACROS is an X-Processor PRO thing“. And of course you will be able to shoot ACROS with your X100F.
  3. At CP+ in February in Japan, the X100F will be already “old” news… but this does not mean that other hot stuff could be announced there… who knows ;)

The Fujifilm X100F will have a control ring (works like the one we find on the already discontinued Fujifilm X70) and a button on the OVF/EVF Switch lever.

ATTENTION: I see a few websites, that copy (correct) rumors from FR (of course without credit), and, without respect to their readers, add fake ones on the top of it. This is confusing X-shooters, especially those wondering if they should wait for the X100F or buy the discounted X100T. So it happens that I get quite some emails asking for clarification. I’m trying to answer you all, but you can check the rumors by yourself, too, without waiting for my reply… just search for X100F at FujiRumors, and you will see them all.

X100F or X100T… the decision is up to you… all I can do is to deliver you as accurate rumors as possible… so here is the full list of rumored specs:

I read many rumors elsewhere, about an X100F announcement in February. But I have to inform you that this (and more) are just fake rumors.

So, it’s time to set things right now.

There won’t be any Fujifilm X100F announcement in February, not even at the CP+ show in Japan (where we might get other cool stuff, but not the X100F). The Fujifilm X100F will get its launch party in January.

Feel free to share the word on other blogs and forums… and remember that I don’t have anything against it, if you quote the blog, where you got this (and other) rumors ;)

My Rumor Codex: I’m aware of the responsibility that comes with running the biggest X-related website and dealing with rumors, and as a sign of respect and responsibility towards all FR-readers, I do not share fake rumors.
