A little weekend X curiosity. Fujifilm X-Shooter Alexander recorded with a Rode VideoMicro the focusing sound of the following lenses. Check out the video above.

Overall the Fujifilm X-T3, which is made in China, seems to be well build, with a decent weather sealing and in some aspects also better than the much more expensive Sony A7rIII:

Nikon D500 offers by far the most lens choices. Rugged and stable DSLR body. Best autofocus in the world
Fujifilm X-T3 has some great lenses like the XF100-400 and new XF200mmF2. Insanely fast AF. Very capable sports and wildlife camera

Fujifilm X-T3. Terrific video specs and Eterna profile is awesome. No IBIS and better battery life. But Fujifilm X-H2 will fix that. Fujifilm X-T3 is best hybrid video/still camera overall

Overall, Fujifilm X-T3 is the way to go in the crop sensor world.

You ask, I deliver ;). And based on this comparison, the XF16-80mmF4 looks like a fantastic travel lens!
The comparison is based on the images I took and what I have seen with my own eyes at the Photokina Fujifilm booth. Also, we took the filter size into consideration.
Of course this can’t be super-accurate, but just like with my previous comparison, I’d say it’s 85+% close to perfection. Keep in mind, though, that the size of the XF16-80mmF4 mockup I have seen at photokina might change until the final lens is released sometimes in 2019.
