New Fujifilm GFX100RF Teaser Shows Aspect Ratio Dial in Action

Share

Fujifilm has just published another teaser for the upcoming Fujifilm GFX100RF.

This time they show us the aspect ratio dial in action.

The aspect ratios we can see are: 17:6, 65:24, 16:9 and 3:2.

But we know from the full leaked GFX100RF press release, that the dial will give access to a total of nine different aspect ratios, including the 1:1 ratio not seen in this video.

7Artisans AF 35mmF1.4 First Image – A Good Alternative to Fujinon XF35mmF1.4 R?

Share

The first image of the upcoming 7Artisans AF 35mmF1.4 for Fujifilm X mount has been shared by asobinet.

I’ll stick with my epic Fujinon XF35mmF1.4 R, because of its “magic” rendering and because it has an aperture ring. But feel free to let me know your opinion in the comments.

CORRECTION: Fujifilm X Summit March 20 at 6AM New York Time (not 5AM)

Share

The daylight saving time, which started on March 9 in USA, fooled me.

Because in early March I told you that the Fujifilm X Summit would start at 5AM New York time. But I did not factor in the time change, so let me correct it.

The Fujifilm X Summit will take place at:

  • 6AM New York TIme (EDT)
  • 11AM Berlin Time (no change here, as time will change only next weekend in Europe)

Sorry again. But good news for those who follow the event from America: you can sleep one hour longer ;).

Fujifilm X-M5 Tilta Vintage Camera Cage Released

Share

Tilta has released its minimalist vintage camera cage for Fujifilm X-M5. It comes with:

  • CUSTOM DESIGNED compatible with Fujifilm X-M5 Camera Body
  • THUMB GRIP Mounts to Hot Shoe and Improves Stability for Smoother Shots
  • STRAP ATTACHMENTS Makes it Fast and Easy to Attach a Camera Strap
  • MOUNTING POINT Accommodates Various Quick Release Plates for Tripods and Gimbals
  • LIGHTWEIGHT Construction Weighs Less than an iPhone SE (without quick-release plate)

I get it that these accessories are meant to improve usability, but on the other hand it goes against the purpose of owning an ultra compact like the Fujifilm X-M5.

And yet, looking at the images, it seems like Tilta tried to keep the overall rig as light and small as possible.
