Fujifilm TCL-X100 listed at BHphoto. Still no official price listed.

Just A Flash: I got word from a new source that the TCL-X100 will cost 299 Canadian Dollars and be out end of May. As I told you here, the rumored price for the TCL in Europe is €250. Seems that it is going to cost a little less than the [shoplink 12893]Fujifilm WCL-X100[/shoplink]

As in Japan, in UK the price seems to be set: £219.98 (See Fuji’s site here)

This rumor comes from a new source, so take it cum grano salis.

Fujinon XF 16mm f/1.4: that’s Fuji’s new high speed wide angle lens on the roadmap (trusted source)

Fujinon XF 16mm f/1.4
trusted Japanese source

The rumor comes from the top trusted Japanese source, so do NOT take it with a grain of salt, spread the good news on facebook, google+, twitter and wherever you want (but don’t forget to quote the (original) source ;-))

Fuji’s mysterious high speed wide angle lens will be the Fujinon XF 16mm f/1.4!

XF 120-400mm
new source

As I told you on February 3rd, according to a new source (see here), the super telephoto zoom lens will be the XF 120-400. If correct, we’ve just unveiled all the lenses that are currently shown on the Fuji Roadmap. So I’ve updated the roadmap for you :-)

XF 18-135mm f/3.5 to f/4.8
reminder

XF 18-135mm Reminder: We know it since the CP+ in Japan, but Fujifilm hasn’t still updated the roadmap: the 18-135 is getting faster (from f/3.5-f/5.6 to f/3.5-f/4.8). This lens will be the first weather sealed lens in the Fuji XF lineup. First rumors suggested that it would be released in April / May. But then Fuji changed its plans and delayed the release to probably June. This explains why Fujifilm has delayed the release… they are making it faster!

Stay Tuned because…

… because Fuji can insert new lenses to the roadmap in any moment. So I won’t stop it here and continue to investigate further for you.

Any hint and help would be highly appreciated. You can drop me an email (with a fake email account if you want), or use the rumor box. It will keep you anonymous (in this case you could use a nick-name so that I can recognize you in future).

Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to make my work here on Fujirumors a bit easier :-)

TCL-X100 will cost €250 in Europe (a bit cheaper than the WCL-X100)

 photo TCL_zps0d62cd81.jpg

Who follows Fujurmors on facebook will probably already know it: a source, who shared with us a correct rumor in the past, told me that the TCL-X100 will cost €250 in Europe. This makes it a bit cheaper than the [shoplink 12893]WCL-X100[/shoplink], which, at its launch, cost $300 Euro and now costs €270 at AmazonDE.

For a first look at the TCL-X100 check out Rico’s X-pert corner special here.

In USA, the [shoplink 12893]WCL-X100[/shoplink] cost $400 at the launch (currently $315-$330 at AmazonUS). The rumored price is of $350, as already shared here.

TCL-X100 listed at BHphoto. Still no official price listed.

Confirmed by trusted source: no more X-PRO1S. Focus on the Fujifilm X-PRO2!

 photo pro_zpsfd438901.jpg

In the last weeks I’ve shared 2 rumors regarding the X-PRO1 successor:

  • an anonymous source said that no X-Pro1s is on the horizon… all R&D [research and development] is being placed into Fujifilm X-Pro2 for 2015
  • a new source said that the Fujifilm X-PRO2 will feature a FF sensor

The trusted source could NOT confirm that the X-PRO2 will feature an FF sensor, but said that there won’t be an X-PRO1S. Fuji will focus on the X-PRO2.

That’s it for now, and stay tuned!

Full Frame or not? That is the question. The FR-community seems to be divided. Here are some of the most liked comments from the last X-PRO2 rumor.

  • I wait for the organic apsc size sensor, not any FF!!!!!!” (Ali)
  • I suspect the main money maker will be the APSC lines, but the new FF line will increase market awareness and put Fuji well and truly in the Pro field as well. It is a totally logical business move. All the other big players have APSC and FF lines, so why should fuji exclude a certain user segment.” Allweather
  • If this decision is true, it is a bad decision. Fujifilm does not have the money and engineering resources to develop a FF mirrorless system from scratch AND continue to develop it’s APS-C X system.” jg
  • My only problem with this will be the size! the body will be bigger, lenses will be bigger and heavier, and everything will make you think why did you leave your SLR in the first place?!” Nour El Refai
  • Especially with A7/A7r are already in the market and received positive feedback, it’s time for fuji to seriously consider the FF before it’s too late. A fuji x FF with in-body stabilization is a dream camera for me :).” Wilson
  • IMHO this would be great. I believe that for many (myself included) FF is the only thing holding them back from finally ditching the DSLR and going all Fuji. Also, I don’t completely understand the people who think that Fuji would some how forget APS-C if they made a FF camera. All the lenses and many different camera bodies would still be there, so people who want to stick with APS-C can do so. It’s not like the FF would take something away from APS-C (maybe just some resources from development department).” Jukka Saarikko
  • Hopefully this is just a lame rumor. APS-C X-Trans Organic sensor please, weather sealing, updated viewfinder, better AF, MF usability with OVF needed.” Austin
  • Patrick, when exactly did you receive these rumor submissions? On April 1st?” Trenton Talbot :-)

So, which group do you belong to? Full Frame or not? Here is the poll.

From all the upcoming lenses in the FR rumored roadmap, I'm mostly looking forward to the...
