Top Secret Home of FujiRumors Unveiled – You’ve Never Heard About it (But it’s BEAUTIFUL) :)

Top Secret (no more)

When I started sharing videos on YouTube, many viewers said they loved the views they were getting from my apartment and asked me to unveil the name of this beautiful town.

So today I’ll do just that: welcome to… watch the video above to find out.

And watch until the end, so you don’t get shocked by that MEGA-PINT in the thumbnail ;).

And don’t worry, that was it already… after this one, we will get back to normal rumor business as usual ;)

Best Food

And btw… after I started doing these videos, my wife kind of wanted to try out something herself. Down below are two of her cooking videos:

  1. a video where she cooks our favorite pasta with shrimp, rocket salad and lemon
  2. a video where she makes the traditional dumplings

And look, she is Vietnamese (as you know from when I told you the story of how this $3 accessory saved my Fujifilm X-T5). And we know how amazing Vietnamese food is.

So make sure to drop her a comment and ask her to make videos about Vietnamese food, too, if you want to try to cook it yourself. And of course, subscribe to know when it will go online.

Yes I know, I am blessed: I live in the country with some of the best food in Europe (Italy) and I married a woman who comes from a country with some of the best food in Asia (Vietnam).

Fujifilm Financial Results for FY2022: Signifcant Rise of Imaging in Sales and Profits (also thanks to X-T5, X-H2S and X-H2)

Fujifilm has released their final report for the fiscal year 2022 (April 2022 to March 2023).

The imaging division seems to be very healthy with a 23.1% revenue increase and a 97.1% operating income increase.

Keep in mind though, that the imaging division is divided in two sections:

It’s safe to assume that the majority of the imaging division profits comes from Instax sales

But also the professional imaging department alone saw a revenue increase. In this regards, Fujifilm mentions the sales of the Fujifilm X-H2S, X-H2 and X-T5.

Strong sales of instant photo systems and digital cameras boosted overall revenue by 23.1% year-over-year to ¥410.3 billion and operating income by 97.1% year-over-year to ¥72.9 billion.

In the Consumer Imaging business, revenues increased due to strong sales of instant photo systems, color photographic paper and dry minilabs / materials. In March 2023, we launched INSTAX mini 12, the latest entry model of the INSTAX instant photo syste. We have also strated offering the smartphone app /NSTAX UP! that allows users to enjoy the digitized INSTAX photos on their smartphones.

In the Professional Imaging business, revenue increased as sales of new products from the X Series digital cameras, X-H2S, X-H2 and X-T5 which come with the latest, fifth-generation devices, fared well.

Fujifilm X-T4 Discontinued (in Addition to X-Pro3, X-E4, X-T30II, GFX50R, GFX100)

Fellow FR-readers saw it coming already.

The Fujifilm X-T4 had been removed from the Japanese Fujifilm store back in September 2022 and also stores overseas started to mark it as discontinued.

Well, now it’s also time for BHphoto & Co to remove the Fujifilm X-T4 from their store, hence it’s now marked as discontinued also there.

The Fujifilm X-T4 joins lots of other Fujifilm cameras that are already marked as discontinued, such as the Fujifilm X-E4 (we reported back in March here), the X-T30II (we reported here), the Fujifilm X-Pro3 (we reported here), as well as the Fujifilm GFX50R and the Fujifilm GFX100.

But, trust me guys, don’t expect a Fujifilm X-Pro4, Fujifilm X-T40, Fujifilm X-E5, Fujifilm GFX50R replacement and Fujifilm GFX100 replacement to drop all on May 24, just because they are now discontinued.
