A couple of time ago Fuji and Panasonic announced a new partnership and said that they are developing the first organic sensor together. The new technology promises among the others “Industry’s highest dynamic range of 88dB”, “higher sensitivity than conventional sensors” and “ faithful color reproduction“. The bad news… and a message of hope

AmazonUS changed again the delivery of the X100S. In the meantime J&R completely removed the X100S from their store now. Here is what a FR-reader wrote me:

“Note that J&R, one of the FujiRumors links has dropped the X100s altogether due to Fuji’s continuing non-poerformance with delivery.  It is off of their site and I got this email from J&R about the X100s:

You submitted a stock alert requesting to be notified when we have the item(s) below back in stock.  We are sorry to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable provide you with this information.  At the current time, we are unable to obtain sufficient information from the manufacturer as to when or if we will be receiving another shipment.”

But hey, I don’t wanna leave you without a message of hope. I’ve just received also an email from John:

“Really, all I can say is, fu….., finally. Actually, I can say this too. It’s as good as the hype has been. That OVF is just magical.”
