According to fresh rumors we have received also the mother of all lenses, the Fujinon GF 80mm f/1.7 will come in early 2021!

FujiRumors has already covered the lens in the past. We shared:

• a size comparison of the GF80mmF1.7 with the GF110mmF2 (20% smaller than GF110mm f/2)
• Fujifilm said at the February X summit, that the GF80mmF1.7 will weight less than 800g
• Fujifilm says it will have “very creamy and soft bokeh“
• first product images shared at the February X summit

Well, now we know also when it will arrive: early 2021.

I have the feeling that a wonderful lens is coming our way. A lens that next year DPReview will not be able to ignore in their awards declaration. ;)
