After Adorama, finally now also BHphoto has the Fujinon XF 56mm f/1.2 in stock here and the XF 10-24mm here.

The X-T1 is still hard to find. FR-reader Joakim Johansson (website) was tired to wait and here is what he did:

“I purchased an XT-1 and 35 1.4 from Hong Kong, on ebay. I purchased the camera from T-Dimension, on Monday at lunch (Swedish time). It was sent on Tuesday from Hong Kong, and I received it today at lunch, which is around 48 hours. I purchased it for £745 which is really cheap! It’s the 35 1.4 on the camera, and that lens was ordered at the same time from dzone2 for £300, same there, from Hong Kong and it got here with the camera

Typo or Freudian slip? Workshop with the Fujifilm X-PRO2 in Cambodia (July/August with official X-photographer Damien)

Share

 photo pro_zpsfbab788b.jpg

Sometime I like to link to workshops of X-shooters all around the world. Well, this time I was pretty surprised to read that Damien Lovegrove (official Fuji X-photographer and known also for testing products for FujiUK) is organizing one in Cambodia in July/August and that he will likely use a Fujifilm X-PRO2 and the Fujinon XF [shoplink 12888]14[/shoplink], [shoplink 16128]23[/shoplink], [shoplink 12889]35[/shoplink], [shoplink 21554]56[/shoplink] and [shoplink 12892]55-200[/shoplink] lenses.

Sure, it must be a typo. You will hardly see any X-PRO2 before Photokina in September, when it could be officially announced. I don’t think anyone is allowed to show an X-Pro2 before that event.

But is that “X-PRO2” in Damien’s workshop just a simple typo or a Freudian slip? Well, maybe Fuji X-photographer Damien just told us that the X-PRO2 will be compatible with the existing XF-lenses.

So, dear Damian, lemme know if you’ll use the X-PRO2 in your workshop. I have holidays in August and could join it ;-).

Thanks for the link, Kamal.

One XF 56mm and some XF 10-24mm in stock again… but Fujifilm X-T1 still hard to find in USA

Share

 photo 56_zps6b170503.png

There is just one XF 56mm is in stock at AmazonUS here (sold via third party at normal price)… act fast, as it will run quickly out of stock again.

You can find a limited number of three XF 10-24 in stock at AmazonUS here (sold at normal price via third party) and also at Adorama here.

Not so easy to find in the USA: the Fujifilm X-T1. The demand is for this camera is still pretty high, as you can see from the AmazonUS ranking here, and the supply seems to be very limited at the moment.
