Fujifilm X100F (black) In Stock… and Some Reviews!

Share

You might remember, how one month ago, Fujifilm officially said that the Fujifilm X100F received an unprecendented interest, far more than X100/S/T. And indeed, the success is extraordinary, and hence, the camera is hard to find in stock.

Well, at least now, the black Fujifilm X100F is in stock at AmazonUS and BHphoto.

And now some Reivews

  • Backlit compositions are tricky with the new X-Trans III-sensor at fotox (but looking at the thousands of awesome images shared at our 7,000 members strong Fujifilm X100F facebook group, this does not really seem something to worry about in real life shooting. So many happy X100F shooters over there, that are completely in love with their camera :) )

Fujifilm GFX 50s Firmware Update 1.01 Available

Share

Fujifilm just released the first firmware update for Fujifilm GFX 50s. This is not the major firmware update we are waiting for and is rumored to be released in May.

The firmware update Ver.1.01 from Ver.1.00 incorporates the following issues:

  • 1. The phenomenon is fixed that in some cases the actual saturation of the EVF display is not changed even if the setting of the EVF COLOR in SCREEN SET-UP is changed. It occurs especially after EVF display is changed to LCD and then back to EVF.

You can download the Fujifilm GFX 50s firmware ver. 1.01 at Fujifilm’s support page here.

Feel free to join other fellow 11,000 GFX owners and fans at the Fujifilm GFX facebook group. Follow the Fujifilm GFX facebook page for 100% GFX news and rumors.

Fujifilm X-E3 Will be Smaller than X-E2 (Trusted Source). What Other Design Changes Can We Expect?

Share

Fujifilm X-E3 Design

A trusted source told me, that the Fujifilm X-E3 will have some “design changes”.

One of the changes of the Fujifilm X-E3 compared to its predecessors should be it’s size: it will be smaller.

I remind you that currently all 3 cameras in the X-E line-up, the Fujifilm X-E1, the X-E2 and the X-E2s, share the very same design.

Note that “smaller” does not necessarily mean “much smaller”. It could be a minor size difference, like the one between the X-T1 and X-T2… but maybe also a more significant one.

I will try to give you guys a more accurate indication soon.

In the meantime, keep up participating to Jano’s very well done X-E3 poll.

What else could change?

Maybe the combined shutter/ISO dial. A redesigned grip? A larger viewfinder? No more pop-up flash?

And another big question: tilt screen or not? I have to admit I am hearing something in this regard. But I also know that it’s a tiny bit too early to be 100% sure there won’t be last second changes with this. But I promise that once I’m 95%+ sure it will or will not have a tilt screen, I will share it here on FujiRumors.

The Fujifilm X-E3 will come this year, maybe this fall.

Do You Want to Discover the Big Secret? ;)

My birthday is approaching (April 17), and here are 4 reasons why you should join the FR charity auction.

  1. IT’S MAKES YOU COOLER :): You will get a high qualty X-T1 grip, leather strap and hot shoe cover, with the unique “FujiRumors” branding made by JBcameradesigns. Only you, and I, will have this special personalized items, and your X-T1 will look much cooler with it :). Total value of the items is of $110.
  2. IT’S GOOD FOR THE KIDS: The entire money you will pay for the items, will go to charity, to our FujiRumors friends KNGO in Cambodia, an NGO that gives access to free education to kids. We already collected $3,500 in the past for them with the fair trade X-shirts. You can read the story of the auction and of KNGO quickly here.
  3. IT MAKES ME HAPPY: Volunteering is something I practice since 2005, and I did everything, from cleaning toilets, to teaching, to distributing food to kids living (and working) in a gigantic waste disposal site. And if this auction goes well (and it is already doing great, we are at $155), I will be even more happy than I was before :)
  4. YOU WILL DISCOVER THE BIG SECRET: I will personally send you the item and ship it from my little village in the mountains. If you win the auction, you will get a package with my mailing adress on it and my full name. But I trust you will keep the secret and won’t pass it to Fujifilm.

Yep, the items are worth “only” $110, but sometimes we can take out that credit card and pay a bit more for a good cause. Again, thanks to those, who already bid :)
