Kipon has just announced their Kipon Focal Reducer 0.8x for using Medium Format Lenses on Fujifilm GFX cameras.
There are the various versions available
- Pentax 645 – GFX

- Hasselblad V – GFX

Focal Reducer 0.8x for using Medium Format Lenses on Fuji G Mount Camera
KIPON Baveyes 0.8x introduced a series of lens adapters that bring the various medium format optics (Mamiya645, Hasselblad V, Pentax645, Pentax67, Pentacon 6…) to Fuji G mount, Hasselblad XD mount cameras. Virtually eliminating any crop factor image loss and maintaining diagonal angle of view.
KIPON 0.8x optic applied telecentric design, to let light coming into the digital sensor vertically as far as possible. For some lenses, after using 0.8x focal reducer, lens quality would possiblely improved. We use Zeiss K6 tested mamiya645 55-110 f4.5 and 8 0mm f1.9 lenses, after mounting 0.8x optic reducer, lens quality improved.
With KIPON Baveyes 0.8x adapter, although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other electronic functions will not work.
