The More the Merrier :)

A kind FR-reader dropped me following email:

ACD See Pro 9 (I like it much better then LR) now supports X-Trans RAW.”

And not only X-Trans support. This version introduces many improvements and new features. Check them out here. For the Free Trial click here.

ACD See Pro 9 is available for Windows only. [UDPATE: It looks like there is also a MAC version here.]

So how is the X-Trans conversion? Let us know in the comments and share your first samples at the dedicated Fuji X Forum thread here.

UPDATE: There is another software with X-Trans support, that I haven’t told you about since now. It’s CyberLinks PhotoDirector 7. Check it out here.

Good Bye Canon! First Stop-Motion Wedding shot entirely with Fuji X-T1! Check out what can be achieved with Fuji gear

 photo stopmotion_zpstq7t8vqr.jpg

Today I’d like to share with you Antony’s first stop motion wedding video, shot entirely with a Fuji X-T1.

He hesitated quite a lot before ditching his Canon for Stop Motion Videos, as he worried especially about battery life etc.  However, he “worked out how best to set up the cameras to achieve the results I need for my films.”

And now, when it comes to weddings, he’s 100% on Fuji, even for his stop motion videos. His first Fuji-Only Wedding consists in”4500 RAW files, of which about 1600 make the final cut. Add to that another 1500-1800 stills and it’s a 170GB day!”

Check out Antony’s Forum post to see “what can be achieved with Fuji gear“!

I have to say that we have very creative and talented photographers over at our Fuji X Forum (including some official Fuji X-photographers). Keep up sharing your awesome work and ideas with us X-shooters.

Lightroom CC 2015.2 and Camera Raw 9.2 are now available for download. Nothing Fujifilm specific this time. More at the lightroomjournal here.

I remind you how Adobe said in the past, that they cooperate with Fujifilm to improve X-Trans support. Or, in Adobe’s words: “We will improve X-TRANS detail rendering and overall edge definition.””

The first steps already have been done with
