While the Fujifilm X-Pro2 is having a well desevered great pre-order start (first in the CSC AmazonUS Camera Ranking), things does not seem to proceed that well for the little Fujifilm X70.

This might be the reason why the Fuji X70 price listed at stores changed from $799 to $699. It should be available on February 15.

Fujifilm also changed the shipping embargo on the X-Pro2. Here is the official statment that Fujfiilm send stores:

“Due to a delay in shipping from the factory, we are revising the Sales Embargo date for the X-Pro2 camera body. In an effort to have inventory available at all of our retailers at the same time for the launch, we are EXTENDING the following Sales Embargo. X-Pro2 Body – Embargo on Retail Sales – EXTENDED until a TBD Date in Late February.”

And now you see why certain rumors (like firmware updates, shipping dates and price) are very difficult for me: Fuji can change it in any moment… even shortly after its launch.
