I am Sorry for the Rumors I’ve missed to Share with You – Technical Issues Update (and Fix)

I owe you an update.

A few weeks ago I told you that the anonymous contact for was broken form a few months, which means I have not received any of the rumors and news you sent me (even though you got the notification that the message has been sent).

And while the fix worked for a few days, the contact form broke again.

So we started to work on it again, and initially we were able to restore text messages and later today you should also be able to send attachments anonymously again.

Right now we have a downtime where it does not work at all (no text, no attachments), but it should all be working in a couple of hours again.

So… if you wonder why ahead of the last X summit in May we did not get any low resolution leaked images of the upcoming products, that’s very likely the reason, as usually I get those leaks via anonymous  sources via rumor box.

Again… everything should fully work again later today. And that’s good so, as we are approaching another hot rumor seasons given the Fujifilm X summit taking place on September 12.

And to be clear: this has nothing to do with safety or security issues on FujiRumors. It’s really just a matter of coding, plug-ins and server updates that kind of don’t play nice together and mess up things, which is why I now added a few paid services and new plug-ins to sort it out one by one.

Costs time, costs money, but I am confident that all will be fixed forever in the next few hours.

Sorry again for the inconvenience and for all the nice rumors and news I missed to share in these weeks and months.

Again the invitation: if you have used the rumor box between late April and now, I did not get your message, so if possible, it would be great if you could share them again
