Chinese Fujifilm X Mount lenses

The market of (more or less) affordable Fujifilm X-mount glass is growing quickly, especially thanks to Chinese lens manufacturers such as Laowa, 7Artisans, Meike, Mitakon and Sainsonic.

One of the latest entries is the Neewer 35mm f/1.2, which costs $119 and we reported about it here. But to have a complete overview, just check out this forum post about all available X-mount lenses.

Let’s say it clearly first: if you want the best IQ possible (and autofocus), get Fujinon glass and look no further.

Fringer EF/FX Smart Adapters Firmware 2.10 Available – Bug Fix

Share

According to some users’ feedback, V2.0 firmware introduced a bug that some old lenses may fail to be identified by the adapter. Wrong aperture value is displayed and AF doesn’t work properly. Meanwhile, we also fixed a bug that may cause repeatedly black screen and camera restart under some rare conditions. Please upgrade you adapter as soon as possible.

Be noted, V2.10 is a replacement for V2.0 as the new baseline. In the future all firmware version newer than V2.10 can only be installed on adapter with V2.0, V2.10 or newer version firmware. V1.x must be upgraded to V2.0 or V2.10 before install firmware newer than V2.10.

Fujifilm Manager Interview

The Thai youtube channel กล้องกล้วยกล้วย had a talk with Fujifilm manager Mr.Udono. It’s a 40 minutes talk in Thai and English, so you have to listen to the Thai question, than the English translation of the question, then the English answer of the manager, and then again the Thai translation of the Manager’s answer.

Too cumbersome?

Well, then you are lucky to read FujiRumors… because since we love you guys, we decided you should not suffer and waste your precious time. So I listened it all for you and here are the managers’ answers in English.

You are welcome :).
