Ok, since you’ve for sure read Rico’s excellent X-T1 book ver.2 (What? You haven’t? Now you better get your copy immediatly here! – 40% discount with code XT1240)… I said, since you’ve read Rico’s book, you’ll know that Capture One Pro doesn’t support Fuji’s film simulations, but “it offers users the opportunity to create their own profiles“.

Well, FXF member fleckintosh kindly shared film simulation profiles over at our Fuji X Forum here. You can download (for FREE) the .zip files and let us know at the dedicated FXF thread or here in the comments what you think about them.

image shared here on February 12

My rumor box got a message again, and I’m glad to share it here with all of you.

According to the same source, who leaked the October 21 announcement date for the XF35mmF2, also the 1.4x teleconverter will be launched the very same day. Both will hit the market mid-November.

To the source: Thanks again for sharing the rumor… and for giving yourself a nick-name :)

Ok, sure, take the grain of salt. But as of now, for me X-Day is October 21… so stay tuned on FujiRumors. You’ll get the usual live-blogging session.

P.S.: As shared already back in Febraury 2015, the 1.4x teleconverter will work with the following lenses: XF50-140mm, XF120mmF2.8 R Macro, XF100-400mm. And as said on October 2, unless Fujifilm was able to defy the laws of physics, you’ll lose a stop of light using the 1.4x teleconverter on those lenses.

The More the Merrier :)

A kind FR-reader dropped me following email:

ACD See Pro 9 (I like it much better then LR) now supports X-Trans RAW.”

And not only X-Trans support. This version introduces many improvements and new features. Check them out here. For the Free Trial click here.

ACD See Pro 9 is available for Windows only. [UDPATE: It looks like there is also a MAC version here.]

So how is the X-Trans conversion? Let us know in the comments and share your first samples at the dedicated Fuji X Forum thread here.

UPDATE: There is another software with X-Trans support, that I haven’t told you about since now. It’s CyberLinks PhotoDirector 7. Check it out here.
