Look, I am the first to be disappointed that Fujifilm hasn’t refreshed the X mount lens roadmap yet.
It makes no sense and it’s one of Fujifilm’s big mistakes that they refuse to give us a new one.
I have expressed my frustration and explained Fujifilm’s error in this article here.
So all I can try to do, is to try to create some sort of “unofficial” roadmap based on rumors.
And even if it is incredibly difficult to get on these kind of rumors, today our sources were able to do just that and we can tell you what the next lens is that Fujifilm will launch.
According to our trusted sources, Fujifilm is going to retire one of the most loved lenses by the Fujifilm X community.
And it’s at the same time also the most owned one by the FujiRumors community.
In fact, I can say without any margin for doubts and errors, that the next X mount lens that Fujifilm will launch will be the replacement to the XF18-55mmF2.8-4.
But let me say clearly I don’t know when exactly it will be launched, nor do I know the precise details.
