The reviewers agree: this is a great entry-level camera with great value for the money. And now it’s even cheaper! At AmazonUS you can grab the indigo blue version for $525 (save $ 74).
Read for example techradar’s X-A1 review here: “While the X-M1 can resolve more detail than the X-A1 in laboratory conditions, there’s also slightly less noise visible in images when they are viewed at 100%. In reality these differences are unlikely to be noticeable at normal print sizes. The X-A1 produces superb images that most photographers will be extremely happy with, especially if they shoot raw files.”
dpreview posted part 1 of the “gear of the year” series… and it starts with the X100S. Read more here: “Needless to say, by the end of my X100S review I had truly fallen in love with the camera. It isn’t the most innovative product I’ve seen this year, nor the most accomplished in terms of specifications, but it’s the one that I’ve used most, and continue to carry with me almost everywhere I go. It takes great pictures, and damn, it looks good too.”
X-A1 Premium White Box
Right in time for the winter time, Fuji decided to launch a X-A1 limited Premium White Box! Read more at akihabaranews.com here. Right now I cannot find the camera available in stores. I think it’s available only in Japan at the moment. But if you find it somewhere, share it on dealsrunner.com.
