Fujifilm X-T3 Autofocus Continuous: 11 fps (MS) and 30 fps in 1.25x Crop Mode (ES)

Fujifilm X-T3 Continuous Shooting

A few weeks ago, we shared here on fujirumors that the X-T3 will shoot 20 fps bursts and even faster in “crop mode”.

Now we have some more details about the continuous autofocus shooting on the X-T3 (thanks).

The Fujifilm X-T3 will shoot up to:

  • 11 fps using the mechanical shutter (MS)
  • 20 fps with electronic shutter (ES)
  • 30 fps in 1.25x crop mode with electronic shutter (ES)

As a reference, the X-T2 and X-H1 shoot 11 fps with MS and 14fps with ES. The Sony A9 shoots at 20 fps ES.

In terms of speed and features, the Fujifilm X-T3 seems to benefit a lot from the new processor and sensor. Check out the full list of specs and features below.

I was a bit busy with the rumors, so I missed this one… but luckily the fantastic community around FujiRumors helps me find what I don’t see :)

This time Nick informed me that Godox released a firmware update ver. 1.2 for the TT350 for Fujifilm on August 15.

Nick also wrote me:

I had a ***** of a time doing the firmware update. All sorts of errors and issues with windows 10. Turns out it’s the micro-USB cable. Try different ones. The one o had wasn’t a cheap or low-end one. But at my wits end, when I tried a different one. It went like silk.

A Love Letter to Fujifilm in Times or Mirrorless Wars

The video above has been shared by Fujifilm UK on their youtube channel here for the World Photography Day 2018.

I really like it, because none of the photographers interviewed mentions for a single time the word “Fujifilm” or “megapixel“. They “just” tell us what photography means to them.

Just the fact that Fujifilm shares such videos on their channels, denotes a photographic culture, that, so they tell me, is lacking in some other brands.

Let’s Spread Love
