Share Rumors and Chat 100% Anonymously with FujiRumors via SIGNAL

Last year we launched a convenient and 100% anonymous way to chat directly with FujiRumors: a dedicated Signal account.

Yes, the rumor box is always there for you, too, if you want to write me 100% anonymously.

But the advantage of Signal is that through Signal I can also reply to you and we can actually talk to each other… all of this 100% anonymously.

Since its launch, a couple of new sources (that now became trusted) have reached out to us via Signal, and overall it’s just a great way to get and keep in touch to talk rumors and future gear.

All of it 100% anonymously because:

  • while you need your phone number to register, Signal doesn’t share it with me or anyone else
  • you can use a nickname to contact me

If you want to get in touch with me using Signal

Signal can be downloaded on your Phone, but you can use it also on your desktop (it’s required that you have the App installed on your phone already). You can download Signal for Desktop here.

And of course, you can also contact me via email at fujirumor@gmail.com and via PM on other social media (facebook & Co). Those are not anonymous, but it does not change anything, because only I’d know who you are and my top priority in any case and always is to keep all my sources 100% anonymous anyway.

Thanks for everybody who considers to help me out with the rumors, no matter in which way you’ll choose to do that.

Fujikina Brussels Announced for May 24/25

We have proven it to you in this article: the majority of Fujikina events do not take place in conjunction with Fujifilm X Summits.

In fact, the majority of the Fujikina events in 2024 were scheduled weeks if not months away from any Fujifilm announcement.

Is that clear? So we can move on.

There will be a Fujikina in Brussels on May 24/25. You can sign up for updates here.

Just like the Fujikina in Barcelona, Berlin, Arles and Manila in 2024, also this one could be a completely standalone event (or not). I have no info.

What I am sure, though, is that the next Fujikina on March 22/23 in Prague will follow right after the Fujifilm X Summit on March 20. And yes, Fujifilm X Summit means that new gear is going to be announced.

Stay tuned on FujiRumors for updates.

Detect Film Simulation Recipe Settings using AI

Over at our Fujifilm Film Simulation group, fellow member Phạm had the idea to use AI to detect film simulation settings.

I just launched an AI application to identify Fujifilm users’ presets for shooting. Many people ask if they come across a photo that catches their eye (and I do, too). This application was born from personal needs and a desire to learn more about AI

You can read his full post here.

I find this a great idea, although it is still at its early stages so it won’t work always great (and sometimes it won’t work at all). But I thought I share about it because I’d love this project to be developed and improved further. And if you do to, then make sure to check out the dedicated website here (but not too many at a time, or the website will crash :) )

And if you are a developer, you can check out the code at github here.
