Finally: Fujifilm Eye Cup for X-T1 in stock at B&H, AmazonUS and Adorama. Still elusive in Europe!

Bought it, waited for it, love it, worth it!” that’s what FR-reader Mike Ryan said about the X-T1 Eye Cup over at the Fujirumors facebook page.

Well, it was a long wait, but finally the Long Eye Cup for Fujifilm X-T1 is widely available, for example at BHphoto, AmazonUS and Adorama.

For EU residents, I’ve checked AmazonDE, AmazonIT, AmazonUK, WexUK, WexDE, PCHstore, top-foto.de and a few more, but I couldn’t find it in stock for the regular price (just overpriced via third party seller at Amazon)

So, dear EU-residents, if you know some store that has them in stock, feel free to drop it in the comments.

NEW Metz-Flash for Fuji, the Mecablitz 26 AF-1 digital

 photo asd_zpscfb64da1.png

Attentive FR-reader Jacek (thanks) saw that Metz recently announced a new flash (also for Fuji), the mecablitz 26 AF-1 digital.

This is a welcome addition to the still sparse Flash offer for the Fuji X-system. Fuji itself offers the Fujifilm EF42, the Fujifilm EF-20 and the Fujifilm EF-X20 Shoe-Mount Flash. But, as you know Fujirumors sources say that Fuji is working on a new flash (with HSS).

Also, I remind you that the TIPA awarded Nissin i40 for Fuji-X will be released November.

Finally, more flash units are coming!

The Jury is in: National Geografic chose the Top 10 Compact Cameras for Travelers… and their lists starts with the Fujifilm X-T1 and Fujifilm X-E2:

Fujifilm X-T1:This camera is quick—its autofocus is quick, its image review is quick, and it shoots tons of pictures in a row without hanging up. Now I can leave the bigger DSLR cameras at home without a second thought.”

Fujifilm X-E2: “I love the X-E1 [precursor to the X-E2]. I love how portable it is, and the lens quality is outstanding. But the picture is the big thing—the images are really strong. I’m amazed at how little I have to correct them on the computer. Usually I shoot in RAW, but these Fujifilm cameras produce amazing JPEGs straight out of the camera.”

Also included in the list: [shoplink 24784]Panasonic GH4[/shoplink] /  [shoplink 16816 ebay]Panasonic GX7[/shoplink] / [shoplink 22210]Sony A6000[/shoplink] / [shoplink 19559]Sony A7[/shoplink] / Olympus TG-3 / [shoplink 17516]Olympus OM-D E-M1[/shoplink] / [shoplink 13349]Ricoh GR[/shoplink] / Sony DSC-RX10 /
