Fujifilm X100F – NP-W126s

According to a trusted source, the Fujifilm X100F will take the NP-W126 and the new NP-W126s batteries of Fujifilm’s MILC line-up. The current X100/S/T are using the Fujifilm Fujifilm NP-95 batteries.

I remind you that Fujifilm designed the NP-W126s to optimize the heat-managment.

TESTED: Third Party Fuji Batteries? “Inflated capacity values. Some batteries almost Fraud!”… and the Winner is…?

Today Fujifilm announced, that Firmware 1.10 for X-T2 will come on November 8, and they also said the X-T2 tethered shooting plug-in will be available in early November, too.

However, Fujifilm didn’t mentioned any new Firmware for the X-T1.

So some X-shooter were worried, that the rumored X-T1 Firmware 5.00 would not come anymore, or be postponed even further. But luckily the Fuji Guys confirmed on Twitter here, that also the X-T1 FW ver.5.00 will be available for download on November 8…

… unless Fuji finds (again) a new bug ;)

Fujifilm just announced that the X-T2 Firmware ver. 1.10 will be release on November 8… and let’s hope that this time there won’t be a last minute bug that forces Fujifilm to postpone it ;)

It will also fix some bugs, not mentioned in the press release.

Fujifilm Corporation (President: Kenji Sukeno) has announced that it will release a free firmware upgrade for FUJIFILM X-T2 on November 8, 2016. The updated firmware introduces tethered shooting function which allows users to connect the camera to a computer via a USB cable, allowing you to capture and save your images directly onto computer, and allowing you to control the camera from the computer.
