X-tended: Fujifilm X-E2 deal will end July 12. Save $200 + lots of freebies (up to 7 items) + 4% reward!

 photo Adorama_zps1075dee1.jpg

Fujifilm and the stores are pushing the sales of the Fujifilm X-E2… therefore, what was supposed to end yesterday (see screenshot in this post), will continue to run for two more weeks.

In fact, the next deadline for the X-E2 deal is the 12th of July according to Pictureline, while Adorama says that the deal runs “while supplies last” (at least for the X-E2 in combination with 7 accessories).

It seems that, despite the $200 price drop, there is little interest to grab the X-E2 (especially since the X-T1 hit the market this spring). But Fujifilm and the stores are apparently trying everything to get rid of as many X-E2’s as possible. However, before anyone here starts thinking of a Fujifilm X-E3 coming this year, well, keep calm for now, I’ve never heard about it by any of my sources… (but it’s not forbidden to dream, so feel free to tell us some of the key features you’d like to see in the X-E3)

So here is the X-E2 deal overview:

X-E2 kit for $ 1,199 / X-E2 body for $849

BHphoto + 4% reward +  INCLUDES FREE ▪ SanDisk 32GB SDHC Extreme Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card ▪ Watson NP-W126 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 1120mAh) for a Total Value of $52.90

Adorama. There are 2 options here: FIRST OPTION: 4% reward + 3 accessories (spare battery, 32 GB SD-card, Sandist 16GB Memory Vault). SECOND OPTION: Get 7 accesories: Spare NP-W126 Battery, 32GB Class 10 SDHC Card, Slinger camera Bag, Cleaning Kit, Mini HDMI Cable 6-FT, 58mm UV Filter, Sandisk 16GB Memory Vault (while supplies last).

HOT DEAL: Capture One 50% off + UPDATE: Iridient 2.4.2 released

 photo c1_zps7e472043.jpg

THE DEAL

Phase One is offering Capture One Pro 7 with a 50% price drop for $149 at BHphoto here.

THE UPDATE

If you use Iridient to process your X-Trans Raw files, then check out the latest update here. Nothing Fujifilm specific in this update, but it does fix a few notable bugs. In particular this release fixes an issue I introduced in the 2.4.1 update which would cause settings (preset) names in the Settings popup menu to be duplicated 4 times. This version also fixes a Mac OS X 10.7.x specific issue with loading some standard, non-RAW image formats and a crashing bug with some images when zooming in beyond 400%.

THE FIRST LOOK

And stay tuned, in a few hours you’ll be able to read Rico’s exclusive First Look to new X-gear here on Fujirumors.
