Thanks to all sources, who have giving me this consistent hint.

I know it took me a little bit before publishing it, but I needed to get it multiple confirmed to be absolutely sure that what I am going to publish is also 100% correct.

With that said, now the time has come.

According to multiple trusted sources, Fujifilm will use a 180 megapixel medium format sensor in future GFX cameras.

So, I don’t know the name yet, but let’s call it the Fujifilm GFX180.

This is just crazy!

This even beats the Phase One XF IQ4 150MP in terms of resolution and it will surely cost just a fraction of the price.

The bad news?

Well, I hear that the camera is “not really around the corner“, so it will take still a little bit before we see this beast hitting the market.

Patience, we must have… but this is Fujifilm’s plan… and I LOVE it!
