Ok, today it’s my birthday. I’ll soon hang out with friends in my favorite vintage pub. But don’t worry, as always, I’ll keep an eye on FR… you won’t miss anything.

But before I leave, I just wanted to do something fun also for the “X-shooter family” here on FujiRumors :)

It’s a Quiz. And the question is: do you know which are the worldwide 2 most sold Fujinon prime lenses starting from the launch of the X-series until December 2015?

First Vote, and then check out the solution down below by pressing the “Read More” button. But no cheating, ok?

You Didn’t Cheat, Right?
Good guys… then here are the results!

The all time most sold Fujinon Primes lenses (until December 2015) are…

drum roll…

Nr.1: the [shoplink 12889 ebay]XF 35mmF1.4[/shoplink] (easy!)

Nr.2: the [shoplink 13829 ebay]XF 27mmF2.8[/shoplink] (really?)

The surprise here is definitely the XF27mmF2.8, the smallest and lightest of all X-mount lenses.

I included the XF27mm in my “5 most underestimated Fujifilm X-series products” trilogy, and Antonio calls it “the best unnoticed lens on fuji world“… but apparently we were wrong. It might not get any attention on FujiRumors and in Forums, but it sold like hot cakes. So, where are those XF27mm owners? Share your pics here :)

Conclusion: X-shooters prioritize compact lenses… and that’s why Fuji’s has no hurry to release the rumored 200mmF2 and is stepping on the gas regarding the rumored XF23mmF2 WR.

And which one will be the bestseller in 2016

I don’t have any data for now regarding the 2016 sale numbers, but if we take a look at the AmazonUS CSC lens ranking, we can see that the XF35mmF2 WR is the best selling prime, at least at AmazonUS.

That’s it… I hope you had some fun making some wild guesses.

And stay tuned on FR next week… I’ll try to make it as interesting as possible for you.

enjoy your Sunday
