Earlier this year, on January 21, Fujifilm launched the first “Fujikina” event in Kyoto, Japan. On that event, Fujifilm also announced the Fujifilm GFX and more.
Well, Fujifilm just officially announced a new Fujikina event, this time in Toyko on September 7, 2017. If you want, you can sign-up now for the event.
And if Fujifilm does it like last time, also this one could be a nice event to finally unveil to the world new gear, such as the rumored X-E3, XF80 Macro, the GF 45mm and maybe even more.
There is a new firmware update on the way for the Fujifilm X-T20 (and maybe for other Fujifilm cameras too?)
A FR-reader just received back his Fujifilm X-T20 from repair, and he saw that his Fujifilm X-T20 has already firmware 1.02 installed (latest official version is 1.01).
When will Fujifilm release firmware 1.02 for every X-T20 owner?
As we told you earlier today here on Fujirumors, Fujifilm will have a big Fujikina event on September 7. That could be a good date to release the latest firmware update for X-T20… but I have no rumored date for now.
What we have seen in the past, is that Fujifilm usually releases updates for several cameras on the very same day, so I wouldn’t be surprised if also other Fujifilm cameras will get an update. But also in this case, just a speculation of mine.
Anyway… whatever comes, I’m 100% focussed to give you guys the fastest udpates, the most reliable rumors and the freshest news in the Fuji world.
*** The fact that Fujirumors is consistently the first to break the news and rumors, is only made possible thanks to your support. By sharing with FR, you allow me to keep the entire Fuji World up to date (and excited) in real-time. I couldn’t do all this alone, so thanks so much for your help… and feel free to keep up sharing… I can’t wait to see what you guys spot next :)

Anything against a good switch story? I don’t think so. So here is another roundup, which also includes a short, clear and to the point article of why Brennan switched to the Fujifilm GFX (from Canon 5DMKIII).
And of course, images, images and more images, all taken by our fantastic members over at the GFX facebook group.
FujiRumors is the by far largest Fujifilm community. And as such, there are many Fujifilm GFX lovers and owners reading this blog, but also people, who do not own a GFX and are also not interested to purchase one.
So I thought… how can I make Fujifilm GFX roundups a nice experience for everybody, also for those who do not care about the Fujifilm GFX?
…. thinking…
… Got it!
There is one thing that unites us all: the image. Because we all love nice images, right?
This is why in every Fujifilm GFX roundup you will find a selection of wonderful images shared by GFX owners all over the world at our 14,000+ strong GFX facebook group.
So even if you don’t care about GFX, you might enjoy these roundups even just for the wonderful images shared here. And who cares if they have been taken with GFX or not. A nice image is a nice image, and something we will enjoy in any case.
Funny Oversight by the British tech magazine Stuff UK. In their GFX article, they recommend the Fujinon XF 35mmF2 for the Fujifilm GFX. Check it out at page 51 at issuu.com.

I really get a terrific amount of emails with requests to be featured on FujiRumors and I want to make everybody happy. So I have decided to share more miXed zones than we were used in the past. This will allow me to keep roundups smaller (less links) and give you guys an overall better reading experience (I hope).
Also, I’m trying to organize miXed zones in a way that it makes sense, which is why lenses, GFX, X100F and occasionally also RAW converters, accessories and more get a a dedicated roundup.
It’s quite a lot of work for me, but I’m happy to invest my time to feature you all and to improve your reading experience.
As usual, I’m thankful for feedback… I really try to do my best, and in case you have suggestions, they are always welcome.
Now back to today’s roundup, which is dedicated to the heart of every system: the lenses!

The Fuji Guys compare the Fujifilm X-T20 vs the X-T2.
If you are new to the Fujifilm world, and would like to get a basic overview over the main differences between these two cameras, then you might find this video useful.
Right at the beginning, Billy says that the Fujifilm X-T2 and X-T20 are their most popular cameras (but we know the Fujifilm X-E3 will change that :) )
The video was shot in 4K with the Fujifilm X-T20 (4K with half line skipping, so no full resolution, but also no crop). Oh, and Billy, keep up your fight with Japan for 4K in X-Pro2 :) . You can check out the full Fuji Guys video on youtube here.
