Fujifilm X/GFX Deals Ranked from Best to Worst Selling on FujiRumors

First off let’s just say that over the last few weeks, the by far best selling Fujifilm item is the Fujifilm Instax Mini EVO.

But what about the current X and GFX deals? Which gear is selling best?

I’ve checked it and so far among the FujiRumors community the best selling deals are:

  1. Fujifilm X-T4 (save $200): BHphoto / AmazonUS / Adorama / Focuscamera
  2. Fujinon XF 23mmF1.4 (save $200): BHphoto / AmazonUS / Adorama / Focuscamera
  3. Fujifilm X-T3 body (save $400): BHphoto / AmazonUS / Adorama / Focuscamera
  4. Fujinon XF 50mm F1.0 (save $200): BHphoto / AmazonUS / Adorama / Focuscamera
  5. Fujifilm GFX 50R (save $1,500): BHphoto / Adorama / AmazonUS
  6. Fujifilm X-T30 (save $100): BHphoto / Adorama / AmazonUS / Focuscamera

IBIS matters apparently and so the X-T4 comes out on top, even though the price on the X-T3 is just ridiculously good.

I am surprised to see the XF23mm f/1.4 ranked so high. Not because it’s a bad lens that would not deserve to end up in many of our photography bags. On the contrary, the XF23/1.4 was a trusted workhorse at the wedding I photographed this summer and the images I got were fantastic. It’s just that in about 3 months the newer Fujinon XF23mm f/1.4 R LM WR will hit the market, so I thought this would impact negatively on the deal. But it seems people are not hold off by that. It’s a great price for a really great lens.

As for the XF50mm f/1.0, which dominated the best selling lens 2020 ranking smashing the usually top selling Fujicron line, it lags behind the XF23mmF1.4 probably because the price of the XF50mmF1.0 was good to start with and therefore many people didn’t wait for any deal to get their sample.

The Fujifilm GFX50R suffers the competition of the brand new and also quite affordable Fujifilm GFX50SII, which comes with IBIS and a newer processor and makes it arguably the best pick to get into medium format.

Hard times also for the Fujifilm X-T30, dethroned as best selling mid-range Fujifilm by the excellent Fujifilm X-S10.

Fujifilm GFX: One of 2021 Most Praised Systems Gets a Roundup – GFX100S Adventure Film, GF110/2 vs GF80/1.7, GFX50SII and More

The year is ending, the internet is flooded by “best and worst” articles and videos, and at some point of the ranking the Fujifilm GFX system always comes out on the very top positions.

It happened for example with DPRTV here (who gave tremendous praise to the Fujifilm GFX100S) and with BH Explora here, who ranked both, the GFX100S and the new GFX50SII in the top 10 mirrorless cameras list for 2021.

Now, nobody can predict the future in the long term. So if the GFX system will keep up rising or not remains an open question whose outcome will depend on many things.

But if we look back on how it all started with the GFX system and where the system is now, then we can surely say that Fujifilm has set some solid fundaments on which they could potentially build up something very special.

So, in order to honor the big GFX year that we just had, we celebrate today with a dedicated GFX roundup that you can find below.

BREAKING: Two Fujifilm X-H2 Cameras Coming Different Megapixel Number (one 40 MP and the Other?)

Black Friday Pages

If you follow FujiRumors regularly then you’ll already know that there will be two Fujifilm X-H2 cameras and both will feature a different sensor.

You will also know that one of them will feature a 40 megapixel sensor.

So what about the other one? I did tell you previously that my priority is to find out the answer to the following questions:

  • Will both X-H2 cameras have a 40 Megapixel sensor? (maybe an X-Trans and a Bayer version)?
  • Will both X-H2 cameras have a stacked sensor?
  • Will both X-H2 cameras have an X-Trans sensor?

Well, a trusted source now reached out to us and told FujiRumors that there will be indeed a 40 megapixel Fujifilm X-H2 and that the other Fujifilm X-H2 will have a different megapixel number (not 40MP).

Look guys, I know all this is hard to believe.

In fact, since today Fujifilm always took one sensor and squeezed it for 2 or 3 years into all possible X series bodies. And this is why I understand if many of you are skeptical about these rumors.

But that’s what my sources tell me, and as I do since a decade of blogging now, I simply trust them blindly.

Calls with sources are scheduled already. So expect updates soon.

Top 7 Critiques on Fujifilm that Are Absolutely Justified

I recently wrote an article, where I list 10 attacks on Fujifilm that do not make any sense.

In that article, I promised that I would also write an article about the exact opposite, meaning sharing a list of critiques on Fujifilm that I totally understand and I agree with.

You can find it down below.

And of course, feel free to add your own critiques on Fujifilm in the comments down below.

Fujifilm X-H2 with Stacked Sensor: What’s the Right Price for You? (But Do NOT Compare it to the New Sony A7IV)

Here is what is happening in these days.

Since the announcement of the new Sony A7IV, I am receiving lots of emails and also comments here on FujiRumors, pressing me to share more Fujifilm X-H2 rumors.

So let me say a few quick things:

First: I can share rumors only when I either have them or I have permission to share them. So if anyone out there would like to help me to put fire in the Fujifilm community with some X-H2 rumors, then feel free to contact me either via email at fujirumor@gmail.com or via PM on our social media. Also the rumor box is always there for you. If you use it, feel free to give yourself a nickname.

Second: I can confirm that the Fujifilm X-H2 price tag should not be higher and possibly be even lower than $2,500.

So is this a good price tag or is it too expensive?

Considering that the new Sony A7IV costs $2,500, one might think that the rumored Fujifilm X-H2 pricing is too close to the one of the Sony A7IV.

But here is the thing: the Fujifilm X-H2 can’t be really compared to the Sony A7IV. In fact, as Fujifilm itself proudly announced back at the Fujifilm X summit, the next generation Fujifilm cameras will feature a stacked BSI sensor. And as we know, the Sony A7IV has a non-stacked BSI sensor, basically the same technology we find in the $1,699 Fujifilm X-T4.

So you got the point: the Fujifilm X-H2 should be compared to other stacked sensor cameras, such as the Sony A9II, the Canon R3 and the Sony A1. So let’s do it now:

So you see that the other stacked sensor option out there on the market are at least 2K+ more expensive.

And if you look for 8K in a mirrorless camera, then here are your options:

So also in this case, the Fujifilm X-H2 will be at least $1,500 more affordable than competing 8K cameras.

There is no way around it: the sensor is a very expensive (if not the most expensive) component of a camera. For example, Fujifilm paid $2,000 for the older 50MP sensor in the original GFX50S). So, the smaller the sensor, the more affordable you can make the camera.

And as I wrote in a recent article called “top 10 attacks on Fujifilm that don’t make sense“, you simply can pack more specs for less money in an APS-C camera over a Full Frame camera. And this will be the case also with the Fujifilm X-H2, which offers a stacked sensor at a price full frame can’t not even nearly match.

Now keep all this in mind when, in the survey down below, I ask you what would be the right pricing according to you for the Fujifilm X-H2.

The Fujifilm X-H2 with Stacked sensor should cost...
