LIghtroom 4.1 updated brings support for the X PRO 1. First tests!

Share

Finally Adobe released ACR v7.1 and Lightroom v4.1 that adds support for the X PRO 1.  Diglloyd posted a first test using the new Adobe RAW converter. Let me know if you find more tests with the new Adobe RAW converter! I am curious to see if Adobe managed to get out more from the X RAW files than other RAW programs!

UDPATE: Soundimagesplus posted a full Adobe converter test: “ACR is obviously a much more responsive and flexible programme, but it does seem that the unique nature of the sensor means that some of my normal techniques may not work so well. Interestingly, I have a preset saved that defaults to the parameters in the previous version of the Camera Raw plug-in, and I felt that I got slightly better results.

New X PRO 1 tests at Camerguide, Cameralabs and Digitalrev (Kai video)

Digitalrev (Click here) posted that short Xpro1 vs OM-D E-M5 vs NEX7 comparison video I embedded here on top. Kai (the reviewer) pretty much loves the Fuji :)

Cameralabs posted the full X PRO 1 review: “you could say the X-Pro1 takes digital photography back to the basics. It concentrates on doing the important stuff really well – the foremost being excellent image quality – adds some truly innovative features and ignores the rest. For serious photographers that’s a very attractive philosophy and one that will win the X-Pro1 a lot of admirers.

Veyr important M-mount lens compatibility list!

Share

If you tough you could use any M-mount lens on you Fuji X PRO ! keep in mind that this isn’t true. Some lenses are simply not designed for digital sensors and cans how many unpleasant artifacts (like Corner Color shifting for example). So it is very useful to know that Fuji posted a lens compatibility list you can see here: http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/accessories/lens/mount/fujifilm_m_mount_adapter/compatibility_chart/.

Thanks Fuji for doing this ;)
