Fujifilm X100VI (with IBIS) basically Same Size of X100V (without IBIS)

Share

When we told you that the Fujifilm X100VI will have IBIS, the concern was that this might make the camera bigger than the current X100V.

But I am glad to report that according to our trusted and new sources, the Fujifilm X100VI will be pretty much identical in size to the X100V.

Now, for the sake of being 100% accurate with the rumor, I must add that there is a size difference on the specs sheet. But it’s really an extremely marginal difference and only visible if you look at the specs sheet.

In real life handling, you won’t notice any size difference between the two cameras.

NOTE: the image above does not show the real Fujifilm X100VI. It’s just a rendering I made for the purpose to give a visual illustration of the point I want to make with this article

And it’s an accurate one, because it is checked with multiple trusted sources (and also new and anonymous ones have told us the same).

Report of Malfunction with Viltrox Lenses after Fujifilm X-T5 Firmware Update but No Problems Reported by Other X-T5 Users

Share

There are reports shared at the Japanese website Asobinet, that Viltrox lenses stop working on Fujifilm X-T5 after the latest firmware update.

A couple of hours ago I asked in our huge X-T group if anyone is experiencing such issues.

Some members tested the new firmware on their Viltrox 13mm f/1.4 and Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 and did not notice any malfunction.

Feel free to drop your experience in the comments down below.
