I have an update about the X-A2. According to a trusted source it will have the 16MP APS-C sensor, and the screen will tilt 180°… you got it, it’s made for Selfies!

The silver/black version looks pretty good, though.

Not only the XQ2, but also the Fujifilm X-A2 (with new 16-50 lens) could be announced tomorrow. Although the rumor comes from a 100% anonymous source, I can well imagine that Fujifilm will announce both cameras together. (btw, thanks for sharing)

There will be a live blogging here on FR. I don’t know the time, but usually Fujiflm announces new gear around midnight New York time (6 AM in Paris).

A source, who was right in the past (thanks), just told us that the Fujifilm XQ2 will be announced tomorrow, January 15th.

Normally Fuji annouces new gear at around midnight NY-time. The live blogging is part of my service for you on announcement days and I’ll be ready also this time… for the… Fujifilm XQ2. And I wouldn’t be surprised to see it coming along with the Fujifilm X-A2, but no rumors here for now.
