I remind you that there will be a live blogging session here on FR as soon as the lens will be announced and the embargo ends. A trusted source said it will happen this week, so I expect it to come on Thursday or Friday (I never saw an annoucement on a weekend), as usual around midnight in New York (early in the morning in London).] [UPDATE 2: Review is online again at fujilove]

Fujifilm X-T10: Some Design Changes over X-T1, SLR shape, Black and Silver version for the same price! (SRP)

 photo X-T10 fake_zpsqnrlwv4j.jpg

A little update and confirmation about the Fujifilm X-T10.

A source, who was right in the past, confirms that Fuji will launch the X-T10 in a few months.

It also says that it will mantain an SLR shape (though a bit different than the X-T1) and it will be available in normal silver and black (so both versions will have the same price, unlike the X-T1 & graphite X-T1).

Anyone out there willing to design a X-T10 mock-up? Just send it to FR via email at fujirumor [at] gmail.com.

The full rumored specs list so far is: (SRP = source right in the past / NeS = New Source)

– Name: X-T10 (SRP + NeS)
– cheaper version of the X-T1 (SPR + NeS)
– no weather sealing (SRP)
– smaller EVF (SRP)
– same sensor of X-T1 (NeS)
– coming late spring/early summer (SRP)
– SLR form factor (SRP)
– available in black and silver for the same price (SRP)

Source Confirms: Fujifilm X-PRO2 with 1/8000 shutter… and Sync Speed faster than 1/180th!

Share

 photo snyc_zpsei2zfiox.jpg

I’ve just received a confirmation from a source, who was right in the past, that the mechanical shutter of the X-PRO2 will go up to 1/8000 s. Moreover, the X-PRO2 will have a faster sync speed than the current 1/180 of the X-T1 & CO.

The source also says we won’t see it coming before September. So once more the release in late 2015 seems to be confirmed. I keep up hoping for an X-PRO2 under my X-mas tree.

Since this source contacts me anonymously via rumor box using a nick-name, I can not contact it to ask for more details about the sync speed or the X-PRO2 in general.
