T. Northrup comprehensive X-T2 video Tutorial/Overview on youtube

The X-T2 is still mostly out of stock…. and it’s a long wait for many out there, who pre-ordered it quite some time ago. So, to make your waiting even harder, here is some more amazing feedback from reviewers all over the web ;)

  • Fuji X-T2 Review at cameralabs:
    Good points
Superb image quality out-of-camera – best in class.
Good quality 4k video with mild crop and good AF.
Very competent autofocus and tracking (with fast XF lenses).
Large viewfinder and screen that tilts vertically and sideways
Great controls, ergonomics and build quality. Weatherproof.
Dual memory card slots and AF joystick.
Built-in Wifi with good smartphone control.
    Bad points
Lack of touchscreen limits ease of pulling focus in movies.
No built-in stabilisation (but it may be impossible with X-bodies).
AE bracketing limited to three frames.
Auto ISO unaware of lens focal length for minimum shutter speed.
F-Log only available on HDMI output, not for internal recording.
Face and eye detection don’t use the phase-detect AF system.
Leveling gauge is single axis only. Most rivals have dual-axis.

POLL :: Fujifilm 2017 (and late 2016) ** Which Announcement Are You Looking Forward The Most?

Share

2017

Ok, I’ve decided to put it all into one Poll… which is the announcement you are looking forward the most in 2017 (and end of 2016)?

I’ve included also non-rumored stuff, like the X-E3, just because I love it ;). And also something that’s high on the wish list of many X-shooters, like a firmware update for the X100T.

So, if all this would come in 2017, what would excite you more than anything else? Feel free to drop your vote down below.

Fujifilm X100F – NP-W126s

According to a trusted source, the Fujifilm X100F will take the NP-W126 and the new NP-W126s batteries of Fujifilm’s MILC line-up. The current X100/S/T are using the Fujifilm Fujifilm NP-95 batteries.

I remind you that Fujifilm designed the NP-W126s to optimize the heat-managment.

Iridient Developer 3.1.2 Update Released :: Fixes Lens Vignetting Correction Issue for Fuji X Cameras

Share

irirfi

Brian just released Iridient Developer 3.1.2.

This release fixes an issue with automatic lens vignetting correction for Fuji X models. It potentially would overcorrect (too much lightening) in the extreme corners with some lenses and aperture settings. This update also addresses a few cosmetic issues with some toolbar icons with latest macOS Sierra 10.12.1 release and adds support for additional new RAW camera models.

The Fujifilm X-A3 is now supported.

Iridient Developer 3.1.2 can now be downloaded here:
