Time to catch up and share a FR-reader wishlist corner post.

Once upon a time (2010?), Fujifilm launched the second version of a 3D camera, the Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W3.

Stereo enthusiasts still regard this as a high point but of course its specifications (especially the sensors) are now very dated.

Do you think there is ANY CHANCE Fujifilm might produce a new version, almost certainly with enhanced video capabilities for viewing on 3D display laptops, AR/MR/VR headsets and more traditional ways?

There have been “Mickey Mouse” 3D cameras launched recently, but they are more toys than proper cameras, see e.g. XREAL Beam Pro.

I would like to see a X-T camera with a back-illuminated dials like how a watch function at night for the longest time… I believe everyone X-T owner loves how the retro look is currently, however, it will certainly help if it illuminates at night, example; for those taking milky way pictures at pitch dark situations. I guess all those photographers who uses X-T at night will feel the same way as me. I trust such an upgrade will definitely make it more user friendly.
I have been imagining how nice it be to have that illumination and I presume it wouldn’t be too difficult or expensive to make. Especially we can even find such functions easily on daily watches (see sample). I sincerely hope you could raise my wish to Fuji please.

This is useless, maybe it only speaks to me but here is what I would like Fuji to make.
1. X-T5s with the features of the X-T5 except a 26Mpix sensor
2. X100VIs with the features of the X-T5 except a 26Mpix sensor and an 18 mm.
3. X-E5 with the features of the X100V and a 24 Mpix sensor.
4. X-Pro 4 with the features of the X-T5
5. A 35 mm f3.5 for GFX
6. A GFX with a 35mm in the style of an X-100 with 50 Mpix.
7. An XC 18 mm f2.
8. A very responsive XF 20 (50).
9. An X50
10. A 120mm f2.8
All available at my usual dealer in sufficient quantity so that speculators do not seize the equipment to resell it at 200% of the base price. If Fuji releases one of the top 5 choices on my list I’ll stay with Fuji for another 15 years ;-) (I started with an S5000 then an S2 Pro.) If Fuji doesn’t I’ll get an X-100 S, an X-T2, an X-E3 (no I already have it), and an X-Pro1 ;-) Although currently with an X-20, an X-E3, an X-T30, an X-T4 and a GFX50 I’m delighted and it’s not my wishes that will make me take better photographs ;-) But as Fuji is annoying me a bit at the moment, it made me happy, although he’ll never know it and probably doesn’t care ;-) Good luck, long live Fujirumors

I would like to share my Fujifilm wishes for this 2025.
Just to tell you that I have been with fujifilm since the original X100, and I work professionally only with fuji.
I wish…
New fujinon 18mm f.2 mark 2, same size to the original but with better autofocus and resolution 40mpx
New TCL X100. With the same size that the WCL, even if you miss one stop, f.2.8.
New X70 or XF10
And especially the same autofocus as sony for all Fuji cameras :-)

I have been a Fujifim user since X-T1 and using both APSC and GFX cameras (since 50R) for years.

I am thinking if Fujifilm was going to re-do GFX again, what should it look like or what are the most important / less important features that the GFX needs to have

Most wanted features
– Stack CMOS like X-H2S to improve photo capture time
– faster processor to improve focusing speed
– dual CF Express Type B cards support
– enhance the LCD screen size to 3.8 or even 4 inch and higher resolution
– improve the continuous focusing speed and accuracy

Features that could be removed in exchange of lighter body weight or less expensive
– Video capability and make it a photography centric camera
– microphone / HDMI connections
– vertical handgrip (as the camera body should be big enough for comforable gripping)
– EVF (if the LCD is bright, large, high resolution and touch sensitive enough), film like using a Rolleiflex or hasselblad film camera

I’d like to see a Fuji XQ3. The XQ2 is a great full featured truly pocketable camera but they are getting old. The reliability of the rear command dial is the only weakness of the XQ2 that I’m aware of. Improve that dial and call it the XQ3.
