Fujifilm X-T1 firmware scheduled for mid-December (trusted source)

Just yesterday FR-reader Sinjun asked in the comments when the December X-T1 firmware update will become available? Beginning of December, middle, end of December? Well, today a trusted source told me it will be mid-December.

So, if there are no last-minute changes, we can be pretty confident that X-T1 shooters will get the new firmware right in time for X-mas… and a silent electronic shutter could be very useful on that days (along with all the other improvements that you already know will come).

The source also confirmed that there will be a firmware for the X-E2 as well (but I don’t know if on the same date as the X-T1 firmware… I will contact the source and ask more information about it).

There is still a lot to check: will the X-E2 get Classic Chrome & the electronic shutter? Will the X-E1 and X-PRO1 be updated too? The Fujifilm X100S will also be updated, but with which features? Lot’s of questions that I will hopefully soon be able to answer.
