Enough Gear Talk. Time to Let Fujifilm Colors Speak

Share

Fujifilm Colors Power

Let’s take a short break from all the gear talk and share a few images that fellow Fujifilm shooters have shared in the Fujifilm film simulation group.

And remember, whether you own an ancient Fujifilm X-Pro1 or the latest and greatest, film simulations are in Fujifilm’s DNA since the beginning. So play around with them and enjoy using them.

My photo made it into the Top 10 of an international contest, and it’s a Fujifilm JPEG with the Portra 400 film simulation.

I usually shoot cityscapes and landscapes on my Sony, but this time I wanted to step out of my comfort zone.
.
Took the Fujifilm X-M5 to the Wellington waterfront at sunset and created this JPEG-only image using the Velvia V2 recipe (with a few tweaks to soften the tones). Shot with the tiny but mighty 7Artisans 10mm f/3.5—a lens that literally fits in my pocket. I am in love with this lens for its size and value.
.
Sometimes, it’s refreshing to let the camera tell the story.

NOTE. The recipe has been created by another member – James Horwood. It’s a variation of Classic Cuban Neg. And when it works, it works very well! – Recipe details here

Bad composition

I took this pictures on my las trip with negative Cuban, I feel I skept every single composition rule the photo is trimed. But for some reason I like it like I could even print it.
