The Spanish dslrmagazine posted his technical test of the Touit 12mm and 32mm. In this review (part 1) they focus on aspects like vignetting and distortion. Read it here (translated version). For the bokeh, flare-resistance and more we have to wait the second part of this review (which will soon come).

[UPDATE]: dslrmagazine posted part II of his review here (translated version). You can download some RAW sample images.

  • Looks like the 32mm isn’t worth the extra money judging by the samples, but the 12mm is interesting for those who like a wider angle than the 14mm. The difference is very appreciable.

And miss out on the manual focus feature, no way ! :)
Personally like 21mm equivalent more anyway.

Very impressive performance by the Touit brothers. The 12mm is specially interesting: the wider, the better and it doesn’t lose a beat against the already impressive Fuji 14mm. It all comes down to street price I guess.

Bit of a waste of money, IMO, putting that expensive Zeiss glass on an inferior-to-the-X100S camera, no? I use Zeiss on Velvia for 175MP FF. Maybe instead I could try the .45X wide and 2X tele add-ons 52mm, by Kenko, glass by Hoya. That would give me 35mm equiv. 19.5, 52 fixed, and 105. Heck Kenko even has a 3X tele add-on. I am getting close, still on Velvia. I don’t wanna upgrade every 6months.

    • What?

Sorry, but had no clue what you wrote..
