  • that 55-200 and 10-22 Im all over those

  • Bad news if this materializes as the previous indications pointed to fixed aperture zooms.

    • You would rather have a fixed f/4 zoom instead of a f/2.8-4?. I would have prefered a 18-70 over a 18-55 though. Still, the devil’s in the details, so I’ll wait the actual announcement before judging.

    • Antonio….I would rather have a f2.8-f4 zoom than a fixed f4 as previously announced….

  • why is it bad news I think the selection looks great

  • I am really dissapointed. I was looking to buy the 18-72mm f4. A relatively fast wide range of focal lenght would be perfect to a lot of people I think. I had the carl zeiss 16-80mm 3.5-4.5 for sony and it was my most used lens. So versatile and great IQ. I was looking for something comparable with this one.

    • Have you heard of a suitable adaptor/lens combination to fill that gap? Because I was also dreaming of the 18-72 lens as a travel lens and then one prime for portraits and low light.
      Hope this helps,

  • well its official the news is inhttp://www.engadget.com/2012/06/25/fujifilm-outlines-x-pro1-lens-roadmap/

  • Well the 14mm definitely has my name on it…as does the 10-24mm if it is sharp at the wide end. 10-24mm and Xpro would be the perfect landscape setup for me when I want to travel light…

  • Having used Nikon’s 80-400 on a D200, 55-200 is definitely NOT a wildlife lens unless the animals are large and close or the images are going to be severely cropped for use at low quality such as the web. Large animals in the wild need 500-600 mm with double that for birding. I’m hoping for a pro grade 55-200 with a strong closeup capability else I’ll be sticking to my Sigma 180 macro.
